Kirstipops · 19/09/2014 09:16

Whoohoo! All the best CJ!!Thanks

Pregnantagain7 · 19/09/2014 09:16

Hey all, not been on for a couple of days will catch up in a bit.

Need your advice ladies please, I've woken up this morn to quite strong period pains and a very achey back not sure if this could be the start of things or is this normal I know I've done this three times before but my last two were inductions so only experience I have of going into labour was dd1 and that was nearly 10 years ago! I'm 36+4 should I give them a ring or just see how it goes?! I'm all of a tizz am going to go and pack my bag! Oh and tmi but just had a massive poo!! :)

ohthegoats · 19/09/2014 09:20

My last day today.
Yesterday (after a pretty gruelling 3 hour interview), we got the extra money from the bank that we need to finish our house.
The tiler is finally coming to do the bathroom on Monday.

Things might actually come together in time so long as baby hangs on until due date. I've booked 'bring it on' reflexology for next Saturday morning, and told the boyfriend to get hydrated ready for a weekend of shagging. Bring it on.

ohthegoats · 19/09/2014 09:21

Yay, finally - good news cj.. how exciting.

mrsb87 · 19/09/2014 09:27

Good luck cj!!! I'm had they didn't make you wait too long x

mrsb87 · 19/09/2014 09:27

*glad

tak1ngchances · 19/09/2014 09:29

clops I bought mine from the pharmacy for £16. I'm definitely sleeping better already. My MW tells me it can take a couple of months for things to go back to normal after birth - particularly when you're using your wrists to pick up your baby! So for me it's worth it...

Me23 · 19/09/2014 10:10

Yay excited can't wait to hear your news wishing you and baby all the best.

pregnant I had the same last night (OH looked a bit worried hopefully this will be the kick he needs to build the cot)but it eased off after 2 hours, call your mw if you are worried but these sort of aches and pains are quite common as we come to the end. Keeps on eye and see if they start coming and going like contractions or not.

I had such crap sleep last night storm was fun but kept me awake.
If that wasn't enough when I got up could smell awful poo smell in room leading out to garden one of the cats did massive poo on the floor the cat flap is right there, it was the big fat cat he is awful.

fatpony · 19/09/2014 10:10

Yay CJ!
Mamami I also woke up to the thunder over north London and couldn't sleep until about 4.30am, then woke early to check the election results.

Anyone else struggling with an invasion of daddy long legs type insects? Must be their breeding season. It's so muggy and warm at night we have the windows open and there were three in the room last night which DH put out and then when I woke up with the thunder there was one sat on the edge of my water glass. Yuck!

binkybunny · 19/09/2014 10:11

Good luck excited so pleased for you!

Well my pains and not feeling well don't look like the start of labour, which is fine as I'm only 37 weeks today. MW thinks just hormonal changes. Everything else is spot on so not back now until 39 weeks if I make it that far. She pretty low down and at the moment side on so lots of cat cows and leaning over the gym ball. Nearly fainted during appointment when I was laid down getting measured. Been told to come home, sleep then go swim or for a walk, need to stay active.

mrsb87 · 19/09/2014 10:29

I slept pretty well, a little disappointed we missed the thunder and lightning here in the west mids Hmm midwife later this afternoon. I'm hoping even though I have to give birth at the consultant led hospital (because of the size of this beast) they will still let me have a water birth. There is nothing else that's wrong and (other than the hg) I've had a healthy pregnancy. I feel a bit cheated so I'm going to talk to her about it later.
My best bud is coming to stay for a night or two tonight, can't wait to see her. I do have to do some cleaning before she gets here though, she seems more exciting about nesting than I am!

ohthegoats · 19/09/2014 11:14

I had a weekend at 37 weeks of all sorts of labour type hints... still here at 39, so clearly came to nothing!

Bumpforme2014 · 19/09/2014 11:24

Quick one from me as I am inbetween contractions coming every monite, waters went this morning at 7am, I am at home now trying my best to keep calm. Been in hospital this morning being monitored they confirmed waters gone if don't progress today will be induced tomorrow eeeeekkkkkk

binkybunny · 19/09/2014 11:31

Good luck Bump eek another baby on the way Grin

Me23 · 19/09/2014 11:31

bump don't panic you can do it! Just checked the list and saw we share EDD.
Wishing you all the best Smile

FlipFantasia · 19/09/2014 11:32

ExcitedCJ good luck - can't wait to hear your news!

Bump wow! Exciting!! All systems go!

Thinking of you Slide & Fedup and hope your little guys are doing better.

Also thinking of Yellow - does silence mean latent labour progressed into the real thing?

tak1ngchances · 19/09/2014 11:34

Go bump!!! Soooo exciting Grin

MB34 · 19/09/2014 11:35

Hi, all - I know I'm a bit late to the party but I'm due (DS2) on 17th October and seeing everyone in the same boat as me (or those who have already had theirs) is making me excited and wanting baby out asap (even more than I do now - I'm huge, uncomfortable and fed up)!

I don't normally join in these type of threads as they move so fast and I don't come on here that much (I do more lurking than posting though). So, I'll be reading about everyone and wish you all well over the next month or so.

Good luck Bump, I hope you go into labour naturally today.

Kirstipops · 19/09/2014 11:41

Good luck bump, how exciting!! Looking forward to hearing how you get on, you can do it, loose jaw and deep breaths (Yes I've been re-reading troubleandfyfe's birth story today!)!

I was wondering the same Flip!

FrauEnglischLehrerin · 19/09/2014 12:08

Good luck to bump, cj and yellow! Can't wait to hear updates!

Still seems a long way off here - 35+2 - especially if I think about going overdue!

Interesting discussion about belly mapping/baby positions. I'm another one who cannot feel anything head-shaped (or bum-shaped for that matter) near my pelvis. I'm also paranoid about the baby ending up breech, but he's been head down since 18 weeks and I assume I would feel/be woken by the enormous movement required to turn head up.

fedupofrainydays · 19/09/2014 12:11

Good luck bump
Breathing so important - deep breaths through each contraction. And standing up leaning over something swaying hips from side to side helps massively too. (Or sitting on ball doing the same). Helped with my back to back labour anyway!
