Thought that couldn't be quite right! Congratulations on your festive bundle! :-)

blackcurrants · 17/04/2012 15:29

ha! I swear I'm a better mother than, erm, count-er. I think I was trying to work it out while DS tried to climb on my knee, demanding I go to www.sesamestreet.org, actually, which would explain why I typed the month number in wrong. Eeek! I never intended a festive baby! :)

Congratulations on your BFP!

Just thought I'd input that my birthday is Dec 20th and for what it's worth I love it!!!

It's not too close to Christmas at all - everyone is in a good mood and ready to celebrate and kick back.

As a child we had usually broken up for school by the time my birthday came so no boring birthday at school either!

As an adult everyone is always up for a drink and a party!

Now, my friend whose birthday is Dec 24th may disagree though! :)

BuntyCollocks · 21/04/2012 21:47

Oh no! I got all excited thinking someone else was up duffed for a January birth! I am due 1/1/13 :o hoping all is well and sticky, a much wanted dc2.

HettyTurner · 24/04/2012 17:23

I got a very faint BFP this morning, due about 1st Jan So we're currently due-date-buddies Bunty! Had a MMC in March at 13 weeks so feeling very nervous but also very happy because we've been ttc for over a year.

Got any symptoms yet?

BuntyCollocks · 24/04/2012 18:45

Hi Hetty! I'm sure all will be perfect for you this time. I'm also very nervous.

I have all day sickness at the moment, although on the occasions it's lessened I freak! How about you?

HettyTurner · 24/04/2012 20:57

Had a hint of nausea this morning that made me gag a bit but nothing much, had sore boobs for a few days and been tired for about a week.

Feeling very nervous though I just had a bit of pink spotting. I know it could be implantation bleeding but it could also be the start of AF. So I'm going to take it easy tomorrow and hope it will go away.

BuntyCollocks · 24/04/2012 22:12

I currently have killer cramps. Having to get DH to remind me I was as bad with dc1, as it's terrifying. :(

AngelFairy · 25/04/2012 20:38

Can I join??? Smile

(I've just been told off by the Pregnancy topic police, as I stupidly thought that thread was to talk about pregnancy Confused Apparently, chit chat belongs here...)

I got my first ever BFP on 23rd and 24th from multiple HPT, and I had a blood test on the 24th which officially confirmed it Grin
Going from a few online calculators, my due date is 1st January too x

Congratulations to you both on your news!!

BuntyCollocks · 25/04/2012 21:12

Course you can! (I saw your thread ;) )

I think we're all due 1/1/13 just now! Hopefully some others will come join us soon, too!

Congrats to everyone, too :)

How are we all feeling? Any scans booked? We're going for an early scan all being well at 7+4 because I'm a paranoid freak to set our minds at ease as dc1 was not the most stress free pregnancy, and I'm terrified of things going wrong, now.

AngelFairy · 25/04/2012 22:10

Thanks Bunty, how old is your dc1? I hope this pg is less stressful for you x

I'm booked in for a scan on 14th May, which is 6+7. This is because I'm an IVF patient and they only sign you over to GP antenatal care once they're happy everything is where it should be (iykwim) and progressing as it should.
I'm having early morning and late afternoon nausea that's not too bad, but I'm sure as the hormones increase.... Hmm
How about you?

BuntyCollocks · 26/04/2012 13:53

DS is 15 months at the end of this month - also a January baby. Thank you :)

I hope your scan goes very well for you, will look forward to good news!

I've had nausea pretty much all day every day since 7dpo, but every time I feel better, I freak out! I can't win; feeling rotten, or feeling rotten for not feeling rotten!

Sooner the scans come along the better!

AngelFairy · 26/04/2012 15:16

Awww, how adorable! I bet it's fun with a toddler and all that nausea Wink

I've just been looking at youtube videos of 4-5wk scans... I am now so impatient!

BuntyCollocks · 26/04/2012 16:04

Much fun, especially when he does something especially darling, like poo on the floor when he's about to go for his bath, and dance in it ;)

Me too! ARGH! Hurry up, May! 3 weeks on Saturday ... can't come quick enough.

HeyNiki · 26/04/2012 20:49

Hi just butting in! This was me last year. DC1 is 13 weeks and i am soooooo ready for DC 2, 3, and 4! Lovely news for you all, fingers crossed for some lovely sticky January babies xxx

HettyTurner · 26/04/2012 20:49

Hello Angel, you must be thrilled with your BFP, IVF is such a difficult journey - I know a few people that have been through it.

I'm not sure I'll still be here by the weekend Sad had bright red blood today which stopped, but it can't be good. Still got some preg symptoms, but thirst has gone and not felt nausea today and not been for about 30 wees. Can't decide whether to phone the Dr and tell them or not, it's 2 miscarriages (if you can call this one) in a row.

AngelFairy · 26/04/2012 21:07

Oh Hetty, I do hope it's just spotting. I've heard that acupuncture can help with spotting and bleeding in pregnancy... gotta be worth a shot? Fingers crossed x

Hi Niki, Congratulations on your successful pg and it's great to hear you're already wanting number 2 and beyond - You're my inspiration now Grin

Bunty, your son sounds ace! Ha... I can't wait to have one!

missymooboo · 27/04/2012 16:46

Hi ladies, just had my faint BFP this morning and think my due date is 6th jan, feel nervous posting as had two early miscarriages in last year. Have 5 and 3 year old and so so want baby number 3. Going to do another test in morning and just hope it's a stronger line. Funny since I found out been feeling tiny bit nauseous! Boobs sore so good signs. Congrats to you all x

BuntyCollocks · 27/04/2012 17:08

Hetty - just to give you some hope. With DS I had bleeding at 5,6,9 and 11 weeks. At 6 weeks it was a huge, bright red bleed with awful cramping. He is now a bright as a button toddler. Don't give up hope.

Congrats, missy!

Thanks, angel, he's a star (although growth spurts are not fun at any time, but especially not just now!)

missymooboo · 27/04/2012 18:27

Thanks Bunty Smile

Hetty hope everything's ok x

discobeads · 27/04/2012 21:51

helo :) BFP today, clearblue says 3-4 weeks pregnant, due date 1/1/13 Grin

I have felt pregnant for more than 2 weeks though, and last month's period was strange, so will go down to docs next week to discuss it.

BFP line was more, well LFL (little faint line) but that could be because I am testing in evening wee :)

on the positive side, my skin is clear (my last pregnancy left me with hideous acne which never quite cleared up - daughter is now 4.5) and I feel well. Have had a desperate need for red peppers too Grin

missymooboo · 28/04/2012 07:35

Morning ladies, just done another HPT and still positive Grin still faint BFP but more obvious than yesterday where I had to hold it by window to read! Boobs sore and firmer.

Bunty how are the cramps?

Hetty how's the bleeding? Think it's a good sign it stopped, have had a few friends who had bleeding in first few weeks and gone on to have bouncing babies.

Arrggg my DS has been awake since 0545! Usually a great sleeper but full on energy and now sat at table with him doing sticking-far too early!

Bit stressed as we're off to Scotland later to stay with my DP's brother and his family, meant to be celebrating our engagement with bubbly tonight. Need to think of story why I can't drink!-any suggestions would be great fully received ladies.

missymooboo · 28/04/2012 07:37

Disco congrats on your BFP, hoping my skin clears up too as usually does when pregnant

BuntyCollocks · 28/04/2012 08:12

Congrats disco!

Cramps are intermittent, and not nice!

My ds has also been up since ridiculous o'clock - luckily we're home with our parents this weekend so they're letting us sleep!

How about saying you have vertigo? My mate at work has that: explains nausea, and you can't drink on the pills!
