I'm not sure. I may go visit the town DH and I lived in for a few days but probably will just try to get the house and my head a little in order before the job starts. I am looking after my parents dog for a week whilst they are all away as she's too old and frail for kennels now.

Congratulations on the new job! Hope ddog is not struggling too much in the heat.

It will probably be a bittersweet trip Niffler. I hope you have some good memories from there. Flowers

Have you handed your notice in yet?

Are the dogs ok in the heat this week? My cats do not like it (me neither!).

I've handed my notice in. I finish on 1st September, there are a few leaving in the next few weeks. Thankfully its cooler now so ddog is a lot happier.

Well Done, and Good Luck with the new job. 🙂

Glad to hear DDog is happier in the cooler weather, it is better here too now it's cooled down.

Hey Niffler, how are things? I hope the new job is going well. Fireworks next month, how is your ddog with them?

Things are going okay thanks. The new job seems good. I've had training and have just had my first proper shift. It's still very much setting up but it seems good so far.

Thankfully ddog is fine with fireworks other than the huge sudden ones that also make me jump. Unfortunately my housemates dog can end up a jibbering wreck. He's no too bad inside with the tv up but if he happens to be outside it freaks him out for hours. Around here unfortunately people set off fireworks pretty randomly and constantly up until new year. It can be 2pm in the afternoon and one will go off so you can't really avoid going outside with them.

Hope you are all okay.

Hi Niffler just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year! I hope your ddog and your housemates ddog don't get too scared by the fireworks. We have had them the last couple of nights here, not fun. I hope your new job is still going well.
