Hi Christmas went as okay as it could.

Ddog is doing well and I'm okay. I'm on the lookout for another job as financially I can't live on the hours I'm getting.

D dog is so cute . I hope the job hunting goes well, you could do without financial strain as well as what you're going through emotionally

How are you and ddog Niffler? Did you have any luck finding another job? I went to see the orthopaedic surgeon yesterday and he said my hip should last 25 years so that is good news. My ddog was out in the rain this morning and got very muddy!

Hi all is going okay. No luck on the job front but I am getting a few more hours at my current job.

That is good news Amber. Unfortunately ddog and housemates dog are like mud magnets at the minute .

Haha I feel your pain about the mud. I am glad the weather is slowly getting warmer, my friend went for a walk with me and ddog yesterday and she said you can tell spring is coming as we saw a badger!

I'm still looking for a new job. Not only for the hours/money but also because where I am working has an unsure future.

I'm finding work difficult at the moment. My anxiety is ever present and is worse when I am going to work. I can mask quite well so no one knows not even my housemate but I feel like there is a weight on my chest and I can't quite breathe in deep enough.

Hi Niffler how are you? Sounds like a new job might be good for you if the one you have at the moment is making your anxiety worse. I suffer from it too, I think a lot of people do to varying degrees, so relate to the weight on your chest feeling. You probably know this, but I find once I summon up the strength to do it, taking ddog out for a walk helps, especially now the weather is improving. I hope you start to feel better soon.

I'm okay in general. I'm ill today though 🤢 so feeling sorry for myself. I told work I had to go home but I don't think they were too pleased I was leaving despite the fact I work with food 🤔. I'm still job hunting. Ddog is doing well and we are all enjoying the better weather. Hope you are all well.

Hi Niffler I hope you are feeling better now. Not great that your work were reluctant to send you home when you were ill. I hope you find something else soon. Glad to here ddog is doing well, I find walks much nicer in the warmer weather. Look after yourself.

Hi all, ddog is struggling a little with the warmer weather but is happy enough. I have a new job starting at the end of September. I need to hand my notice in by the end of July as there will be some training to do too.

Struggling a little. It still feels very surreal that this is my life. I miss DH everyday but I also can't really believe that he's gone. Life moves on and I feel pulled both forward and back.

I keep going though. Going to work and doing all the bits I need to do.

You're doing very well and what you feel is completely normal. Feeling like you are being pulled both forward and back is a good way to describe it.

Is your new job more hours?

I'm ok, enjoying some time off at the moment as I have given up my job.

Hope DDog is behaving herself 🙂 hopefully it won't be too hot for too long, although I think I heard we have a mini heatwave coming up.

I saw a cooling pad for dogs to lie on in the hot weather, would she use one of those do you think?

The new job is more hours but less days. I'm still waiting on hearing all the details and exactly how many hours it will be. I think I will be handing my notice in next week to have a little time off before the new job starts.

I bet it feels very freeing not having to go to work.

Ddog has a cool mat that she does use. The house is actually quite cool. It's really old so it's lovely in summer but freezing in winter.

My housemate also has a new job so hopefully this time next year we will both be in our own homes.

Good plan to have a break before the new job starts, will you go away at all? 🙂
