Guardian is running a live feed, and a good unbiased source is Agenda Free TV on YouTube also running live feeds from the streets there.

Obviously multiple versions of events being thrown about as it's very fresh.

There’s a very graphic video on X, no car, no weapon drawn, at least 6 ICE agents beating him on the floor and then one gets their gun and shoots him.

the lady has been taken into ICE custody. Alt.parks are trying to get her a lawyer. The deceased man was a US citizen.

i don’t understand how the same people so vociferously defending their 2nd amendment rights now somehow seem to think carrying a legal weapon while recording ICE means they have every right to execute you on the spot.

I find the Republican senators and representatives who are sitting on their hands over this utterly abhorrent. Where are their ethics, morals, principles? When did they lose their humanity?

Military top brass need to refuse orders now if asked to intervene. Then a general strike. Now.

I’ve seen some of the comments on X, saying because he had a gun he deserved it. Some Americans really will twist anything so they don’t have to face the truth. I bet most of them are fully paid up NRA members too.

2nd amendment for me, not for thee

I didn’t want to rush to judgment but slowed video is clearer that the man, with a license to carry a firearm was murdered. I became surer when the Minnesota politicians started speaking. No way would they want to be saying that stuff if there was then footage of the agents genuinely being threatened.

I’ve just seen a video of this and it’s appalling. ICE agents seem to think that they can act without any comeback it’s unbelievable. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be in the USA right now especially as someone who is not white and who has put up with stuff like this for years. Really dreadful, hateful stuff.
