I wouldn’t be surprised if the ICE agents who executed Alex have disappeared into the wind now. With no official markings, they could be any guy who has decided to get tooled up and head to Minneapolis to join in the fun. I don’t think ICE has any idea who half of them are.

It’s the protestors that need to be distanced. For everyone’s safety. It doesn’t work to have them actively obstruct an ongoing operation. You can organize protest marches, rallies, take to public squares.

In a democracy, the government should serve all the people. Even the people that didn't vote for it. The 'winning' side doesn't get to execute those that oppose it in the street.

No, ICE operatives simply need their guns taken away from them or, failing that, be given some very serious training in how they use them. And they need to know they will be held fully accountable for every assault and murder they commit. If Rene Good's killers had been facing trial, I wonder whether Alex Pretti's would have been so trigger-happy?

How was Pretti actively obstructing them? He was filming them, then he went to the aid of someone they gratuitously pushed over. They might not like either activity, but neither prevented them from doing their jobs.
