Guardian is running a live feed, and a good unbiased source is Agenda Free TV on YouTube also running live feeds from the streets there.

Obviously multiple versions of events being thrown about as it's very fresh.

Seems ICE mangement have been telling them they can ignore US constitutional law - so they do seem to think they are above the law.

The one who took the victim's weapon and cleared it was not the one who murdered him, as far as I can see. Clearing the weapon is basically the first thing that you do when it comes into your possession.

Going a bit CSI here , but would anyone be able to tell if the bullets retrieved, which I assume they would do, because otherwise how could you prove it the gun was loaded, were fired from the 'murdered persons' gun ?

I presume this is all by the by because ICE agents do not have to adhere to any State or National law when it comes to killing someone ? So they can kill by accident or malice with impunity ?

Yes, but how many times does it need to happen to the average Joe before they realise en masse they are all targets, no matter their background, if they don't comply with whatever ICE decides? There has to be a point you look after your family, if you can. I appreciate many are not financially in a position to move.

You can put the video into software that cleans it and slows it down frame by frame. It’s fairly easy to see once it’s slowed down. Especially the view from rhe front.

Ballistics experts can often tell what gun a bullet was fired from. The barrels of many guns are "rifled" with groves that cause the bullet to spin and therefore become more accurate. No two barrels are identical, so each leaves its own 'fingerprint' on the round as it leaves the chamber.

No use on a smooth-bore weapon like a shotgun or a musket.

I can see the US slipping into a version of civil war which is of course what Trump wants so that he can declare martial law, suspend the mid terms and stay in power until he drops dead. Sounds extreme but who could have forseen just how bad it would get and how fast it has happened. He's only been back for a year and it feels like ten and we are seeing horror happening on a daily basis. The US is a rogue state now. I am feeling overwhelmed with the mess that the world is in, Iran, Gaza, Ukraine, all that pain, death and suffering and now it looks as if America is about to combust. Every single day there is some fresh horror unfolding over there. We moan in this country and of course there is a lot wrong here but not like this

I am just watching Noem on CNN and I want to throw things at my TV. Lies. Lies. Lies. My heart goes out to the American people who didn't vote for this.

Minneapolis is a very special city to me. I spent time a lot of time there in my late teens and it holds lots of special memories. I still have friends living there and I’m worried about them, their loved ones and where this leaves the USA. And they’re worried for their own safety now.
