I can vaguely understand people voting for him back in 2016. He’s a character, Clinton had a lot of baggage, wanting something new and having faith in the fact that there were proper adults in the room. I think you’d have to overlook a lot of sexism, racism etc but republicans have been doing that for ages.
I can’t understand voting for him in 2024 - after his response to COVID, the first round of locking people in cages, his concentrated effort to overthrow the election including inciting a riot, the fact that he literally said vote for him and you wouldn’t have to worry about voting again, his fraud conviction, project 25 etc
I definitely can’t understand coming on here to defend him and his administration now. Cutting USAID, threatening allies, threatening to invade sovereign territory, nonsensical tariffs, repeated attempts to throw Ukraine under the bus, the actions of Hegseth, refusing aid to democrat states, gutting women’s health, making healthcare more expensive, cover up of the Epstein issue, the constant lies and now advocating for the shooting of protestors in the street and arresting 5 year olds.
@Gloriia , @Walkden et al - you’re claiming you’re not Trump supporters but here you are, online, schilling his administration’s party line.
