Ice agent shoots a woman in the face part 3

Moontan · 09/01/2026 15:35

Donald Trump has now said its okay to murder a woman. Because they are doing it for people's 'safety'

It is interesting how far humans will let themselves be abused by bad people.

I was watching a documentary about jonestown the cult.

Some people left the cult

They said that the leader beat people, raped people, starved people. He made them do physical labour for many hours a day. He demanded that they give him all of their money.

And yet still hundreds of people followed him.

People seem to keep supporting a person and staying there. Rather than saying "maybe i was wrong and this guy is actually a bad person"

Is there a link to part 2? I'm still reading page 35 of part 1.

Americano75 · 09/01/2026 17:15

I still can't get over this. Absolutely dystopian.

Her wife has given a very moving and wise statement to a Minnesota news site

https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/01/09/renee-goods-wife-releases-statement-about-ice-shooting

'First, I want to extend my gratitude to all the people who have reached out from across the country and around the world to support our family.
This kindness of strangers is the most fitting tribute because if you ever encountered my wife, Renee Nicole Macklin Good, you know that above all else, she was kind. In fact, kindness radiated out of her.
Renee sparkled. She literally sparkled. I mean, she didn’t wear glitter but I swear she had sparkles coming out of her pores. All the time. You might think it was just my love talking but her family said the same thing. Renee was made of sunshine.
Renee lived by an overarching belief: there is kindness in the world and we need to do everything we can to find it where it resides and nurture it where it needs to grow. Renee was a Christian who knew that all religions teach the same essential truth: we are here to love each other, care for each other, and keep each other safe and whole.
Like people have done across place and time, we moved to make a better life for ourselves. We chose Minnesota to make our home. Our whole extended road trip here, we held hands in the car while our son drew all over the windows to pass the time and the miles.
What we found when we got here was a vibrant and welcoming community, we made friends and spread joy. And while any place we were together was home, there was a strong shared sense here in Minneapolis that we were looking out for each other. Here, I had finally found peace and safe harbor. That has been taken from me forever.
We were raising our son to believe that no matter where you come from or what you look like, all of us deserve compassion and kindness. Renee lived this belief every day. She is pure love. She is pure joy. She is pure sunshine.
On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. They had guns.
Renee leaves behind three extraordinary children; the youngest is just six years old and already lost his father. I am now left to raise our son and to continue teaching him, as Renee believed, that there are people building a better world for him. That the people who did this had fear and anger in their hearts, and we need to show them a better way.
We thank you for the privacy you are granting our family as we grieve. We thank you for ensuring that Renee’s legacy is one of kindness and love. We honor her memory by living her values: rejecting hate and choosing compassion, turning away from fear and pursuing peace, refusing division and knowing we must come together to build a world where we all come home safe to the people we love'

LakieLady · 09/01/2026 17:52

What a beautiful statement, full of grace and free from anger.

I'd still be at the "You fucking murderous bastards" stage if that had happened to my life partner.

Thank you for posting it, OP.

PevenseygirlQQ · 09/01/2026 18:15

The poor wife and children, the whole family and her friends.

I would be so so angry I don’t think it would ever leave me, all because a dung heap of a man couldn’t control his temper.

I thought it was an excellent example of the mental gymnastics that people will do to reduce cognitive dissonance.

Echobelly · 09/01/2026 18:32

I mean really - what's more likely: 'mum of three young kids who is dedicated to peace turns into a political desperado out to murder government representatives', or 'terrified woman tries to escape gang of armed men from a known violent group that operates above the law who were surrounding and trying to enter her car which also had her wife in it'?

dapsnotplimsolls · 09/01/2026 18:48

Have the ICE defenders not found this thread yet? Or should we expect them around 11pm UK time?

RingoJuice · 09/01/2026 18:51

Yeah. New camera footage from the ICE agent she hit. She was actually aggressive and pretty reckless. Not panicked at all. You can literally hear her hit the guy, she knew exactly where he was (I had actually somewhat given her the benefit of the doubt on that)

hollytheheroic · 09/01/2026 18:54

That's is not what it is. It shows that she is not a threat at all. He killed her because she talked back to him.

So this shows that he was angry, called her a fucking bitch and shot her in the face in a rage. Not really helping Mr ICE's case.

He shot her after he was hit by an SUV. She knew exactly where he was. You can hear the audio. Sorry this isn’t gonna fly anymore.

He was knocked because he was in the way while his colleague physically intimidated her. You see him walking after her straight afterwards.

oocooloo · 09/01/2026 19:06

Unless normally cognitive people in the US rise up and protest with something like a general strike and mass protests, this murder and the actions of ICE and DHS will disappear off the front pages soon enough and things will move on to the next atrocity. Which will be equally dismissed.

The agent was totally reckless, and out of control, to shoot at a moving car, with his colleague in such close range. It is only luck that other people were not injured. He should be charged, but that won't happen as he has defenders in very high places. Shame on them, I don't think those people have any morality in them.

RingoJuice · 09/01/2026 19:09

I don’t even think she was trying to flee the scene anymore, because she doesn’t wait for her wife to get in the SUV (you can see her wife try to get in but the car, but it was moving forward into the ICE agent). Poor doggo tho.

Snowqueenie123 · 09/01/2026 19:14

That video lines up with him putting his phone away and the noise of him shooting her, not the car hitting him.

I agree.

Even if you can argue that the first shot was self defence (which I still think is massively pushing it because I don’t think that firing the shot is what made him able to walk away from the situation totally fine), there’s no way you can argue that the second and third shots, fired at these points below, were anything other than totally unnecessary. What self defence claim can he possibly make for these two shots?

Yeah she didn’t look terrified at all. She made eye contact with the agent as she drove right into him. They may still try to indict him but I very much doubt anyone would convict after seeing this footage

Snowqueenie123 · 09/01/2026 19:25

You can see from this there is room to get through on the road. If this is body cam footage why is he filmed walking around the car with a phone which he puts away prior to pulling his gun. That link seems highly edited too re 3 gun shots fired and subsequent timing of the collision….

Are you blind?!
he walks around and outs himself in the way of a moving vehicle. If he was tha bloody scared, he’d be moving out of the way. Instead, as he’s moving, he is taking out a lethal weapon and then executing somebody with it.

That man deserves to rot in hell. They all do.

MistressoftheDarkSide · 09/01/2026 19:35

I'm highly suspicious of that footage. Highly fucking suspicious.

Do you know what's not going to fly anymore? Trying to justify a woman being shot in the face.

Seriously, jog on. This was murder.
