Ice agent shoots a woman in the face part 3

Moontan · 09/01/2026 15:35

Donald Trump has now said its okay to murder a woman. Because they are doing it for people's 'safety'

It is interesting how far humans will let themselves be abused by bad people.

I was watching a documentary about jonestown the cult.

Some people left the cult

They said that the leader beat people, raped people, starved people. He made them do physical labour for many hours a day. He demanded that they give him all of their money.

And yet still hundreds of people followed him.

People seem to keep supporting a person and staying there. Rather than saying "maybe i was wrong and this guy is actually a bad person"

He’s videoing it on his phone. You can clearly see that from the reflection of him in the car windows.

ElegantFowl · 09/01/2026 20:26

That new footage puts another angle on it, literally. I don’t know what to make of it.

Snowqueenie123 · 09/01/2026 20:27

Given they are entrusted with guns- why don’t they wear Body Cam ?

Ladywinesalot · 09/01/2026 20:31

She was a paid protester that drove several hours to take part
she was not that innocent

What do you mean? That now it’s ok to shoot someone in the face for not stopping? Look at the actual laws that ICE agents have to abide by. They are not allowed to shoot because someone doesn’t stop. What country do you live in, by the way?

That link to the ‘new footage’ says it is from body cam- yet it has been reported they weren’t wearing any.

In the previous filming he is seen walking around with a phone which he then puts away to draw his weapon so his position when he shoots repeatedly and the events directly before are not recorded by him. Other recordings show a different version where he engages in conflict unnecessarily in front of her vehicle and her wheel is turned away from him demonstrating she is not targeting him with her car.

momtoboys · 09/01/2026 20:35

I did not see the prior 2 posts. I am currently living in the USA. It is an increasingly frightening place to be. If the ICE agent that shot that woman in the face in front of her wife and child gets away with this, there will be NO reason for the ICE agents to use any restraint at all when dealing with the public. None. They will have learned that they can do whatever they want, hurt or kill whomever they want and there will be no repercussions.

Snowqueenie123 · 09/01/2026 20:35

She lived 3 blocks away. This was her neighbourhood.

How could she have driven several hours to take part when she had literally just dropped her son at school round the corner?
She and her wife had recently moved there. She lived there.

TheDoubleDeuce · 09/01/2026 20:36

I never knew there were so many experts on US law and procedures who used Mumsnet. Not to mention SOC analysis. Call off the official investigators. You guys are wasted here.

Have the ICE defenders not found this thread yet? Or should we expect them around 11pm UK time?

They seem to have arrived a bit early.

@RingoJuice you really are not doing yourself any favours.

What I mean is the new footage does not make the exact circumstances any clearer.

Bit of a jump that!
Do you often go around calling ppl Nazi’s because they have a different opinion to you?
How childish of you

The woman didn’t deserve to die
She also shouldn’t have been there
If a law official was pointing a gun at me telling me to do something, in America, I would.
And I would be stupid to think that there would be no consequences for ignoring instruction.

You are a wee bit behind the times, this lie was disproved ages ago.

Snowqueenie123 · 09/01/2026 20:40

Elegantfowl - look at the analysis report I popped a link to.

How much do you trust a source that claims it is body cam when they weren’t wearing any?

NotTerfNorCis · 09/01/2026 20:42

I read a book recently about Jonestown.

People were brainwashed, but they were also trapped in a violent, filthy camp in the middle of the Guyanen jungle. Deborah Layton, the book's author, was both very dedicated and lucky in being able to escape.

Bit rich given the USA government made snap judgements within no evidence/offered a very distorted account and didn’t wait for an official investigation… not exactly leading by example are they?

Snowqueenie123 · 09/01/2026 20:45

Good to hear decent folk in the USA are protesting/engaging in planned protests. They are not buying the bullshit rhetoric either.

Frequency · 09/01/2026 20:50

The timing and sound of that "new" footage are completely off. We know he shot her at least three times before the car sped away. Why didn't we hear that?

The interaction was much shorter than the other three available clips, yet it starts and ends in the same way.

Was he hit or did he slip on the ice? Other clips show he slipped on the ice before shooting her. Either way, he got up immediately, didn't appear to hit the ground at all, and shot her in the head three fucking times, twice through the side window, after he was well clear of the car. I've yet to read any justification for that.

I want to know who released that footage? Who has the phone now? Who verified the footage had not been doctored/edited? Why do 47 seconds pass from him exiting his vehicle and Renee crashing in his clip, but the other clips are much longer? How does he have his phone in his hand the whole way through his clip, from his exiting his vehicle to Renee crashing, yet we clearly see him put it away to get his gun out in the other ones? In other words, I want to know what happened in the part that was edited out and why hide it from us if there is nothing to hide?

He wasn’t pointing a gun at her for any decent length of time. He pulled it out and shot her. There was no stand-off. He didn’t say ‘if you don’t get out of the car I’ll have to shoot you’.

And no, I don’t go round calling people Nazis because they have a different opinion to me. But in this case (although I didn’t use the term) I am going to repeat that you are the type of person who would have defended them. You’ve done it again in your reply to me. You said you would be stupid to think that there would be no consequences. But we are talking about FATAL consequences here. Not being arrested and charged with something. So essentially, you are still defending a nasty murdering thug who walked away from a woman he’d just cold-bloodedly killed while saying ‘fucking bitch’.

America is clearly full of apologists like you.

Ladywinesalot · 09/01/2026 20:31

It's 2026. I don't know where this woman lived, how long she had to drive to get there or if she was paid. Are you serious? If you believed in a cause and were peacefully protesting this cause do you deserve to be killed by being shot in the face as you were driving away in front of your 6 year old child? Your post is outrageous.

Teddleshon1 · 09/01/2026 20:51

Why would anyone go out of their way to insert themselves into a situation where armed officers are engaged in confronting potentially armed civilians? There’s plenty of footage of scenarios such as this which show how quickly things can escalate and how chaotic and highly charged these situations are. I just can’t imagine why a parent would do this.
