Today is a normal working day as usual.

And they probably opened at 6am! What on earth has stopped you from shopping in the weeks leading up to Christmas? Those poor retail staff deserve a break.

Bet the staff who were closing up very much enjoyed watching the people who decided to rock up half an hour before what they thought was closing time to do their big christmas shop have to then turn around and go home 😄

Ours shuts at 9 every night (except Sunday when it’s 4) what’s the problem?

My daughter works in retail. They shut at 7.30/8 I think. She is working until midnight doing stock and there will be some people there through the night.

Lidl changed their hours here about a year ago, are you sure they haven’t where you live

My local Lidls usually shuts at 10pm so I would expect it to be open. @soupyspoon posters will just rip you apart though.

I’ve just checked all of my local lidls and every single one has different opening times. It’s just sensible that you’d check them during Christmas!

Just checked ours and they all close at 10:00. I'd assume there was some kind of problem (burst pipe, power cut, fridges broken down or something)

No, we always do our weekly shop on a Tuesday night at about 9/9.30 due to our working hours and rotas, tonights the night!

They always shut at 10 as do Asda and Aldi. Tesco at 11

I went shopping this morning because I finished work last week. The supermarkets were still busy this evening though because not everyone has finished work.
