As above - would you expect your partner to tell you if they were going to be bringing ‘kink’ items? Or is it appropriate to find out by walking into the bedroom after a bath and finding said items being worn?

🤢

willsandnoodle · 16/11/2025 20:07

Oh no. I would hate that.

Dump

RainbowBrite1 · 16/11/2025 20:08

No thank you. That would put me right off

MannersAreAll · 16/11/2025 20:09

Nothing sexual should ever be sprung on anyone.

Tbh even if the items were something I liked I'd still be very tempted to end the relationship based on the lack of discussion, and ultimately the lack of consent.

Dump

I don’t plan on pursuing things as it stands. Which is annoying as we’ve had a good few months but I feel like I’ve got the ick.

I would expect communication and consent to be paramount in any sexual relationship, and so I would dump him.

Wolfpa · 16/11/2025 20:10

Kink items? Depends on the type. If they bought a massive strap on then yes some warning may be needed. If it was some sort of outfit then no

Sillysoggyspaniel · 16/11/2025 20:10

Depends on what it was. A blindfold, fine. Full on gimp suit, yeah I'd like a head's up.

ExperiencedTeacher · 16/11/2025 20:11

Surely it depends whether said items have been discussed before? And whether the discussion was received positively? If yes and yes then he could legitimately feel it would be a nice surprise. If it’s a no to either question then he was unreasonable.

MrsPrendergast · 16/11/2025 20:11

Performative 🤮

Get rid

rwalker · 16/11/2025 20:12

I think it all hinges on response of you said not for me

🤣🤣🤣

firstofallimadelight · 16/11/2025 20:13

No things like that should be discussed not surprised with on the night.

DaisyChain505 · 16/11/2025 20:13

Nothing sexual should ever just be sprung on someone. Especially something that isn’t the norm.

Consent and communication is everything.

Calendulaaria · 16/11/2025 20:13

Wow, how awful. Some men are just gross.

grumpygrape · 16/11/2025 20:13

Photo or it didn't happen 🤭

Jeschara · 16/11/2025 20:13

No, it would put me off.

BeMellowAquaSquid · 16/11/2025 20:14

I’d definitely expect a heads up to a gimp suit as above 😂 intrigued as to said wear 🤔

Pollqueen · 16/11/2025 20:14

Agree, depends on the kink 🤔

londongirl12 · 16/11/2025 20:14

So you’d never spoken about anything like that before so it came as a total surprise?

GarlicBreadStan · 16/11/2025 20:16

Kink is fantastic. As long as all parties are consenting (and enthusiastically consenting at that!).

It should never just be sprung on someone without prior discussion.

ICantBeDoingWithThat · 16/11/2025 20:16

Did you laugh? 🫣

LilyTheLD77 · 16/11/2025 20:17

It really does depend on what it was.

If he was dressed as a schoolgirl, then run.

If he was in Man U pyjamas then .. well also run for even more obvious reasons.

ACatAsleepInYourHat · 16/11/2025 20:17

Did he happen to have a couple of cock rings “accidentally” fall out of his pocket, op?
