To sue the company who makes peppa pig

On Friday, my 10-year-old son jumped in a muddy puddle and got mud in my eye, all over his school uniform, all over the car, and all over the porch. He also threw his 23-year-old sibling’s CV out of the window as a paper airplane, which he had made a long time ago, causing delays in their job search. He has been saying that I have a big tummy, which has hurt my feelings, and was refusing to get out of the car after we drove home from school. Most times when I ask why he does these things, he says things like "Peppa Pig does it," "Peppa Pig did it," "George did it," or "George Pig does it." I have noticed that he has been displaying all this behavior after watching Peppa Pig.

He's 10.
Time for a new programme.
Maybe something educational like Blue Peter or Horrible Histories.

ForZanyAquaViewer · 15/09/2025 14:18

I think you must. You owe it to yourself.

randomchap · 15/09/2025 14:19

Isn't 10 a little old for peppa pig?

Don't blame the tv, look at how he's being parented.

MumChp · 15/09/2025 14:19

Raise your son better than a tv programme does?

CasualDayHasGoneTooFar · 15/09/2025 14:19

He's 10 - why is he watching Peppa Pig - and if you don't like his behaviour? Newflash - you're the parent (possibly, reads more like a child writing this)

Idontknownowwhat · 15/09/2025 14:20

LOL why is your 10 year old watching Peppa pig?
But yes. Sue them, Peppa has always been a bit of a dick tbf.
I never let DD watch her, cos she was AWFUL to George.
Now my younger ones watch her. But also love muddy puddles, has worked out poorly for me a few times.

I'll chip in towards your legal fees

mondaytosunday · 15/09/2025 14:21

@CasualDayHasGoneTooFarummm…

Muffintopmumma · 15/09/2025 14:21

Meh.

My child walks around going "Oh Goody" and does a short, sharp snort every time I say something.

andanotherproblem · 15/09/2025 14:22

If your child is at school or at the playground and is misbehaving, do you blame the other kids for being a bad influence? It’s your responsibility to teach your child right from wrong and to ensure they know not to copy others bad behaviour

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 14:23

Maybe try to turn his focus to Miss Rabbit's work ethic.
(although I haven't watched for a few years - has she had a burnout breakdown yet?)

InterestedDad37 · 15/09/2025 14:23

I'll join you with a retrospective lawsuit for Horrid Fckng Henry

Newsflash!! did @po8jte really have to put "lighthearted" in her title?

I too would help fund your legal fees @po8jte 😎

FurForksSake · 15/09/2025 14:23

Rage bait. This has to be rage bait.

If Henry was a real boy (urrgh shudder) going he'd be about 30 by now. I wonder how he's doing?
(That's TV Henry. Book Henry will be even older)
Edit : I checked....book Henry is now in his early 40s. I'd love a follow up novel for adults.....😂

londongirl12 · 15/09/2025 14:25

Hilarious!!!! Thanks for the good laugh

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 15/09/2025 14:25

You need to start channelling Nanny Plum from Ben and Holly!

Dweetfidilove · 15/09/2025 14:26

I'm guessing this is lighthearted, so will just laugh along 😃.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 15/09/2025 14:27

Yeah but they'll probably counter sue as it's a TV show for toddlers, not a parenting service. I'm scared what will happen when he graduates to Crime watch.

My DH's nick name is Nanny plum, his stomach rumble is like clockwork. He likes sweeping too, he often has a sweeping brush in hand on his days off.

Someonelookedatmypostinghistorysoichanged · 15/09/2025 14:28

I’m suing macdonalds for making me fat
no wait…. I could not eat it !
stop letting him watch shite pp

hagchic · 15/09/2025 14:28

Henry would be working in finance, head of the department, living his best life, out with the lads every night

Peter would be living on an island sanctuary looking after animals, recovering from his childhood.

What about Margaret?
I hope her moods improved.
