To sue the company who makes peppa pig

On Friday, my 10-year-old son jumped in a muddy puddle and got mud in my eye, all over his school uniform, all over the car, and all over the porch. He also threw his 23-year-old sibling’s CV out of the window as a paper airplane, which he had made a long time ago, causing delays in their job search. He has been saying that I have a big tummy, which has hurt my feelings, and was refusing to get out of the car after we drove home from school. Most times when I ask why he does these things, he says things like "Peppa Pig does it," "Peppa Pig did it," "George did it," or "George Pig does it." I have noticed that he has been displaying all this behavior after watching Peppa Pig.

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 14:23

Maybe try to turn his focus to Miss Rabbit's work ethic.
(although I haven't watched for a few years - has she had a burnout breakdown yet?)

Love this reply.

The kids keep trying to whistle and get very angry and fight because they can't. Very wearing. Clearly learned from Peppa.

hyggetyggedotorg · 15/09/2025 20:15

I agree Peppa can be a bad influence but she’s got nothing on Suzy Sheep! That’s an original “mean girl” in the making.

I always liked Pedro Pony.

Nextweektoo · 15/09/2025 20:15

🙄

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 20:16

@hyggetyggedotorg I always had a fondness for Pedro too 🥰

I think several of us realised fairly early on this was a fake post but we were having lots of fun with it.

BigBirdOfPrey · 15/09/2025 20:20

Peppa deserves to be sacked, she’s an oversized pink hairdryer!

MissPobjoysPonies · 15/09/2025 20:22

Nanny Plum is married to David Baddiel

Nanny Plum is married to David Baddiel

Goodness, David Baddiel gets around

Butchyrestingface · 15/09/2025 20:22

I'm not an avid watcher myself, but isn't 10 a bit long in the tooth for the adventures of Peppa Pig?

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 20:23

MissPobjoysPonies · 15/09/2025 20:22

Nanny Plum is married to David Baddiel

I thought she had a thing with the Wise Old Elf.
Horrified to discover there's a potential love triangle.

MissPobjoysPonies · 15/09/2025 20:23

Pressed too soon.

i saw them in the pub once, best day of DD’s life at the time

AbbeyGrange · 15/09/2025 20:25

Is this a piss take? I hope so....

MissPobjoysPonies · 15/09/2025 20:26

I’m sorry I’m wrong 🙇‍♀️ Mummy Pig is married to David Baddiel (as is Dr a hamster and Madame Gazelle). ooops I’ve ruined his rep…

Glitchymn1 · 15/09/2025 20:26

Peppa Pig is a little bitch 😳😆

brunettemic · 15/09/2025 20:27

I would never hit a child, but Peppa? To quote DH when DS was obsessed…”I’d love to knock that little sh1t into next week”.

AmusedCat · 15/09/2025 20:32

We had to climb to the top of the Eiffel tower 2 weeks ago because gd needed to make sure daddy pig wasn't still stuck up there.....

AmusedCat · 15/09/2025 20:35

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 19:04

Yes but then you get the Aussie accent and "Biscuits" muttered all the time.

And they start calling the toilet "the dunny"

MummingByTheSea · 15/09/2025 20:52

10 👀

Lotsnlotsoflove · 15/09/2025 20:54

Is this real? Is your 10 year old developmentally delayed? My 2 year old watches Peppa and it’s too babyish for most 4 and 5 year olds I know…

Confusdworriedmum · 15/09/2025 20:54

EmeraldShamrock000 · 15/09/2025 14:41

Love horrid Henry, he's popular in this house.
Spongebob too.

I had to ban my kids from watching Horrid Henry because their behaviour afterwards was awful.
We do love Peppa Pig even though my older kids are 19 and 17 (they say it reminds them of their childhood 🤣). Has been a while since they jumped in a muddy puddle though.

shuggles · 15/09/2025 21:03

@po8jte He's 10.

You should probably start holding your son accountable for his words and actions, rather than a TV show that was intended for 3 year olds.

Andouillette · 15/09/2025 21:08

ruethewhirl · 15/09/2025 15:03

Damn, you mean I've got to give up my Peppa fix now I'm 57?

Nope, certainly not. I refuse to give up Bluey and Hey Dougie. I am 61.

Kibble19 · 15/09/2025 21:11

Bit shit to sue. Peppa’s at preschool, so obviously it’ll be her parents who are legally responsible. They’ve just had a baby and you’re putting this on them too?

For those who haven’t seen it for a while:

Ms Rabbit is still going strong with her rescue service, various retail jobs, the library and her employment at every local attraction.

Suzy’s still a little snake. Don’t trust her. Her Mum’s the same.

Madame Gazelle hasn’t aged a day.

Grandpa Pig and Grandad Dog are still arguing about everything. As do Grandpa Pig and Granny Pig. Common denominator there.

Mr Bull is still digging up the road as usual.
