To sue the company who makes peppa pig

On Friday, my 10-year-old son jumped in a muddy puddle and got mud in my eye, all over his school uniform, all over the car, and all over the porch. He also threw his 23-year-old sibling’s CV out of the window as a paper airplane, which he had made a long time ago, causing delays in their job search. He has been saying that I have a big tummy, which has hurt my feelings, and was refusing to get out of the car after we drove home from school. Most times when I ask why he does these things, he says things like "Peppa Pig does it," "Peppa Pig did it," "George did it," or "George Pig does it." I have noticed that he has been displaying all this behavior after watching Peppa Pig.

OP posts:

Could be worse. Ds2 was a Scooby Doo fan. He’s also autistic. We had a phase where almost everything he said was a direct quote from the programme. “No more Mr Nice Guy” was his response to most things he was asked to do.

@po8jte he will grow out of Peppa Pig and move on to worse. Enjoy muddy puddles while it lasts.

Wasn’t there a post exactly like this a few weeks ago?

I am suspicious as op is not back yet.

Maybe she's busy consulting with her solicitor..

MollyButton · 15/09/2025 17:48

If serious - have you had your son assessed for SN?

LauraTheReader25 · 15/09/2025 17:53

This is why that pig is banned in my house. She's so naughty and a bad influence!

Horses7 · 15/09/2025 18:00

I watched Roadrunner and have never dropped an anvil on a coyote’s head, never mind a wily one.

Haribomum7 · 15/09/2025 18:03

Hilarious do it , some people
on here actually think you are serious 😂

Marylou2 · 15/09/2025 18:10

Does your son have SEN or learning disabilities? If not why is he still watching and being influenced by Peppa Pig? Surely that's for toddlers?

rockingthekasbah · 15/09/2025 18:25

This is the most WTF thing I have ever read on this forum

HatStickBoots · 15/09/2025 18:41

Peppa Pig and the several episodes shown in succession without ads, was a blissful chance for me to doze off for 15 minutes while little DD cuddled up to me and watched completely spellbound.

sarah419 · 15/09/2025 19:03

switch to Bluey

switch to Bluey

Yes but then you get the Aussie accent and "Biscuits" muttered all the time.

randomchap · 15/09/2025 14:19

Isn't 10 a little old for peppa pig?

Don't blame the tv, look at how he's being parented.

Pretty much this.
If he was 3 or 4, or even possibly 5 or 6 I could understand it.
But 10?

Nip this in the bud. He's old enough to know better unless there's something else at play.

TiredMummma · 15/09/2025 19:11

Why does a 10 year old watch peppa pig

Cheeky19863 · 15/09/2025 19:12

Sounds like a naughty kid. Time to sort him out and stop blaming Peppa Pig. How ridiculous

Bikergran · 15/09/2025 19:23

What 10-year old watches Peppa Pig???????

MrsBrett20 · 15/09/2025 19:23

This is clearly a joke. Are people taking it seriously?! 😂😂🙈

Northernladdette · 15/09/2025 19:27

I’d 💯 sue, let us know if you’re successful 🙂

Idontknownowwhat · 15/09/2025 14:20

LOL why is your 10 year old watching Peppa pig?
But yes. Sue them, Peppa has always been a bit of a dick tbf.
I never let DD watch her, cos she was AWFUL to George.
Now my younger ones watch her. But also love muddy puddles, has worked out poorly for me a few times.

I'll chip in towards your legal fees

Agree. Peppa was vile to George. She was also rude and genuinely unpleasant.

Now Ben and Holly on the other hand.. ❤️🤗

InMyHealthyEra · 15/09/2025 19:32

He’s 10! A 2 year old might not understand how those behaviours are wrong but a 10 year old does. Stop letting him watch it if he copies the behaviour. Parent your child instead of complaining

TicklishMintDuck · 15/09/2025 19:47

Is this a joke? Why is your ten year old watching a toddler programme? Do some parenting. Switch it off or put something more age appropriate on.

PinkDreamer · 15/09/2025 19:56

I swear I read this same post the other day, minus the CV aeroplane bit

Cucy · 15/09/2025 19:58

Imagine admitting you are a crap parent with a spoilt kid and then trying to blame a Tv programme that you let them watch.

Obviously this is BS but I have heard many parents use all sorts of excuses to justify their lack of parenting over the years.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 15/09/2025 19:59

Yes you should.
I was hit in the face with a frying pan, by a mouse of all things, and now I have flat, frying pan shaped face.
So don't let them watch Tom and Jerry either.
