To sue the company who makes peppa pig

On Friday, my 10-year-old son jumped in a muddy puddle and got mud in my eye, all over his school uniform, all over the car, and all over the porch. He also threw his 23-year-old sibling’s CV out of the window as a paper airplane, which he had made a long time ago, causing delays in their job search. He has been saying that I have a big tummy, which has hurt my feelings, and was refusing to get out of the car after we drove home from school. Most times when I ask why he does these things, he says things like "Peppa Pig does it," "Peppa Pig did it," "George did it," or "George Pig does it." I have noticed that he has been displaying all this behavior after watching Peppa Pig.

@Needmorelego Miss Rabbit burnout - never!

She was raised from a young age responsible for thousands of siblings before having her own hundreds of children to send out into the world.

You need to start channelling Nanny Plum from Ben and Holly!

Fun fact: shes the voice of Miss Rabbit in Peppa Pig!
We love Peppa Pig in this house.
All together now... fruits and vegetables keep you alive, always remember to eat your 5 🤣

Amba1998 · 15/09/2025 14:32

I watch crime drama. I don’t go and murder people and then sue ITV

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 14:32

@hagchic no I think Miss Rabbit will crack one day so she will take over running the lighthouse away from everyone else in peaceful solitude.

hagchic · 15/09/2025 14:32

@Needmorelego Margaret would be a head teacher of an inner city secondary school reknown for it's excellent discipline and results.

The threat to be sent to the Head would make everyone fall in line.

SpongeKnobNoPants · 15/09/2025 14:33

Let's do a joint suing. Strength in numbers

My husband now won't stop going round telling people he's "a bit of an expert" every time anyone needs a little assistance with something. Yet it always turns out he's not actually an expert at all, he knows sweet fuck all about it and he makes himself look a right bellend. The secondhand embarrassment is killing me. He's bringing shame to the family name!

My daughter is 7 and wouldn´t be seen dead watching Peppa...time for new programmes.

If Miss Rabbit cracks I want full on raving rabid rabbit rampage from her.

Not a rest cure in a lighthouse.

(Traumatising the young might not be quite the right fit for early years programming)

Sundaymorningcalla · 15/09/2025 14:34

It can't be half term already, surely?

It's been a few years but I think they established Mrs rabbit didn't have kids and she was not the same person as Mummy rabbit. They were siblings. Obviously voiced by the same actor and no doubt they were originally one character and in a 'hilarious' twist they were two separate characters. Actually I love Mrs Rabbit, one of my favourite animated characters ever. Her and Suzie sheep

Oh no..... now I have Watership Down vibes in my head. She'll turn into the General.....

watchingplanesicantafford · 15/09/2025 14:37

That's nothing, I'm 42 and still do the Ben and Holly trumpet noise.

Dontlletmedownbruce · 15/09/2025 14:40

My Dh narrated our lives Peppa pig style for longer than he should have. On occasion the kids weren't even there. Using that 2 note sound when things go wrong on the show. 'Mummy does not like it when she can't find her keys', 'Mummy doesn't like to talk before she has her coffee' etc.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 15/09/2025 14:41

Love horrid Henry, he's popular in this house.
Spongebob too.

Myotherusernamesafunnyone · 15/09/2025 14:42

Needmorelego · 15/09/2025 14:18

He's 10.
Time for a new programme.
Maybe something educational like Blue Peter or Horrible Histories.

First answer nails it.

Dont think today's kids could cope with Watership Down they'd need counselling! Youth of today eh 🤣

If Henry was a real boy (urrgh shudder) going he'd be about 30 by now. I wonder how he's doing?
(That's TV Henry. Book Henry will be even older)
Edit : I checked....book Henry is now in his early 40s. I'd love a follow up novel for adults.....😂

Edited

He'd be standing for Reform!
