DH constantly making lewd graphic comments

All the bloody time! If we are chatting about something ordinary or I ask him about what he wants to do tomorrow etc he will make an extremely lewd comment about what he wants to do to me - like I cannot wait to plough your you know what or lewd comments about sexualised stuff he wants to do to me etc. Not even remotely related to anything we are talking about- basically says the most shocking/highly graphic things he can think of with a guffaw. He has a habit for saying outlandish stuff so often that coming from anyone else would be highly shocking but as he says it all the time it’s become normal if that makes sense?

Its a huge bloody turn off 👎

He says in while laughing in an almost playful way but it’s constant!

(TMI I know but he says oh I just want to destroy your an$! or I want to plough your sloppy m!nge 🤮) It’s gross I know. I try to ignore him or just say WTF to him.

He’s a “zany” off the wall type of character and his weirdness initially attracted me to him but this is just too much.

He was close to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder (he didn’t attend his follow ups) and I’ve heard about hyper sexuality and it being one of the symptoms?

I'm sorry, that would make me lose every bit of attraction. I wouldn't even want to look at him.

chelseahealyslips · 03/02/2025 14:50

No, its not normal. I'd have to tell him how fucking immature and disgusting he sounds. And that you're sick of his demeaning and embarrassing comments that aren't remotely funny.

FabFeb01 · 03/02/2025 14:51

I could not be with someone like that. Even after saying it just once.

Shoxfordian · 03/02/2025 14:51

Has it got worse since you married him?

refreshingseahorse · 03/02/2025 14:51

There are not enough puke emojis in the world for this. Have you told him it's grim and to stop? Is he inappropriate around other people or just you?

VoodooRajin · 03/02/2025 14:51

Could it be a form of tourettes type thing

Meecrowahvey · 03/02/2025 14:52

Did you accidentally marry a socially inept 15 year old? He sounds like he needs castrated to calm him down, a bit like a dog.

MounjaroOnMyMind · 03/02/2025 14:53

What the hell? Why are you still with this disgusting man? When he made his first comment did you really think he wouldn't do that again?

Do you have children together?

I would get away from him ASAP and before I left I would highly recommend he continues to seek medical help for his condition.

Crikeyalmighty · 03/02/2025 14:54

I think you will just have to be blunt and tell him it's a total turn off and makes him sound like a sleaze - I wonder if he's somewhat OTT in general conversation with others too - 'as a joke'

CucumberSandcastle · 03/02/2025 14:56

Shoxfordian · 03/02/2025 14:51

Has it got worse since you married him?

Yes unfortunately. I posted about him a while ago under a different username after he confessed that before we met he had a sex addiction! This came out of the blue. He said it almost made him ill. He’s on strong antidepressants now and they dampen his libido.

OP posts:
outerspacepotato · 03/02/2025 14:56

Why don't you tell him how you really feel about those crass comments rather than ignore him or say WTF. He might not realize how turned off you are by it.

pikkumyy77 · 03/02/2025 14:56

If he can’t control his mouth then what? I couldn’t be married to someone who was that resistant to caring what I thought and liked.

beetr00 · 03/02/2025 14:57

He is unwell, surely.

Unless, he's always been like this and it's only now beginning to annoy?

Lyn348 · 03/02/2025 14:58

This is nothing like tourettes.

OP hyper sexuality can be a symptom of Bipolar disorder, it can also persist even with diagnosis and medication. Do you really want to live like this? I know i wouldn't.

Yeah he is pretty OTT with others too and says highly out there comments.

What a disgusting excuse of a man. Does he say it in front of other people? Does he talk to his colleagues in a crude manner. I'm imagining no, so it's not like he can't help it.

He has absolutely no respect for you. I would LTB for this.

Some of the things he is saying to you are absolutely vile.

I always thought that hyper sexuality was only present in females with bipolar but I read recently that it could be present in men? I’ve told him it’s a turn off. I think he says stuff to deliberately shock me and others.

OP posts:
CharlotteRumpling · 03/02/2025 14:59

Yeah, I would never want to have sex with him again. Crude and vulgar behaviour is a total turn off for me.

CreationNat1on · 03/02/2025 15:00

Is there any way you can untangle yourself from him? You are going to end up being his maid and social minder/excuser. Can you walk away?

JollyZebra · 03/02/2025 15:00

How long have you known him? How long has he been like this? He clearly has problems. This clearly depends on how much you are prepared to put up with.
Would you want to bring children into this?

TizerorFizz · 03/02/2025 15:01

@CucumberSandcastle Does he work? I’d be worried for any woman around him! It’s awful. Could he access help? I would be thinking about divorce.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 03/02/2025 15:02

eewww how has your vagina not just clamped shut!!

please tell you don’t have kids

pikkumyy77 · 03/02/2025 15:03

But he’s only saying it, not doing it? This sounds more like the mania/disinhibition part of bipolar. He is very narcissistic (in a technical sense) and doesn’t respond to your social cueing that his speech is inappropriate.

At any rate his personality type and his dx indicate he won’t change and he won’t choose medication or therapy to control his behavior. He doesn’t have a problem with it—only you do.

poemsandwine · 03/02/2025 15:03

CucumberSandcastle · 03/02/2025 14:58

He sounds pretty awful. Does no one call him on his annoying/gross behaviour?

DemonicCaveMaggot · 03/02/2025 15:03

He sounds like a candidate for the What the Fuck is Wrong With You channel.

I wouldn't touch him with someone else's 10 foot pole after hearing that.

My face is a combination of cat's bum and lemon sucking and has pretty much imploded.
