Wearing a skimpy bikini around teenage son

I'm late 40's and have recently lost alot of weight. I have treated myself to some new bikinis for an upcoming beach holiday and some are thong styles. I did originally buy the thong ones for when me and DH go away later in the year alone. But every holiday I go on abroad there is so many people younger and older than me showing all their bums! When I was a teen it was rare, but not anymore. Just not sure I'm brave enough or if it would be a massive no with adult/teen children! Wwyd?

what I think is appropriate is teaching children bodies come in all shapes and size and ages and we shouldn’t be ashamed of any of them.

I definitely would not wear a thong bikini in front of my children, but I wouldn't wear one anyway because I find them absurd.

I think the trend for thong bikinis is awful, whatever your figure and whether you have teenage kids to embarrass or not. They just look horrendous. Not classy.

I’ll happily wear a regular bikini around 15 year old DS but I’d draw the line and a thong one sorry! He’d die of embarrassment.

Well, I think thong bikinis look largely ridiculous, uncomfortable and a recipe for raging thrush on the early 20s bums of Love Island, so it'd be a hard no from 40 year old me, with or without the teen.

I'd bet the odds are excellent that your son would not want to see your arse crack being flossed by a bit of fabric. He'd probably rather scoop his eyeballs out.

My son's have been used to seeing me with it all hanging out since they were born so they wouldn't bat an eyelid, even now as adults.
My daughter's have been used to seeing their dad naked from the day they were born and they wouldn't bat an eyelid even now at him being naked.
