Wearing a skimpy bikini around teenage son

I'm late 40's and have recently lost alot of weight. I have treated myself to some new bikinis for an upcoming beach holiday and some are thong styles. I did originally buy the thong ones for when me and DH go away later in the year alone. But every holiday I go on abroad there is so many people younger and older than me showing all their bums! When I was a teen it was rare, but not anymore. Just not sure I'm brave enough or if it would be a massive no with adult/teen children! Wwyd?

If you're uncomfortable seeing someone's arse then you really need to get out more and put down the rosary beads.

I don’t like the thong bikini look, never have, never will, so I wouldn’t. But that’s not because of my kids or what others might think, it’s because I think they look utterly ridiculous.

I'm currently in the South of France, we're at anchor and there's a couple of guys completely naked on the back of their boat not far from us. One is standing hand on hip leaning against the transom, as if it's completely normal, having a chat with his friends. 🤣 I'd be opting for the thong, at least you'll have some dignity.

Its amazing the different consensus on this thread, considering a couple of weeks ago, a mother was told to butt (😄) out of her 15 year old daughter's wardrobe choice of teeny bikinis which were making the grandparents uncomfortable on a family holiday.
