From what I see and IMO, the Labour lot on the whole believe in aspirations but only for themselves

But if you are working, worked hard, been prudent with your money and have savings, decent private pensions in the pipeline and possibly a property or two that you have worked for, for your retirement and not wasting your money and want to leave some behind for your kids, GC etc rather than throw it away on the hand to mouth life - then if Labour comes into power, you are totally and truly F'd

If you are working hard being prudent with your money and made sacrifices to send your kids to a private school as many Labour MP's do on pay at almost 100k - they are eager to put VAT on this part of education. The MPS whose pay is a couple of times above average pay will be able to afford it - will you??

Me, my family, relatives have all worked hard, not on benefits, never lived in social housing and not thrown our money away but been prudent to be self-sufficient and pay our taxes to support our country. If you are like us, then trust me, under Labour, you will be shafted hard.

I'm not sure if I will vote tory or an independent but this circus of Tories and Labour taking turns to lie to the nation is not on and yes, most politicians lie and will lie and say anything to get into number 10 and if your feel that is not true, then you must be on another planet

You don't have to be "older" to remember the last time Labour were in power.... do you actually think it was 1979? Are you aware of a couple of chancers called Tony Blair and Gordon Brown? And was tax sky-high under the last Labour government, and were there food banks on every corner?

I grew up under many a labour government, it was pretty bad. It's insane people selectively forget how it was.

Dunno, I started teaching under labour and life was so much better for students and staff. There was actual funding, for paper, for glue, even for staff training. And we weren't worked to the bone.
Education and health are the key issues for me and the Tories haven't impressed on either. I do think Rishi comes across well, on a personal level but it's a no from me

OP I don't know where to start. Ive been a social worker fir 20 years and seen countless lives dismantled by these Tory twats. Labour are not perfect ofcourse but we need change. Why oh why do the Brits think posh accent = clever/should be in charge??

Having done the same, I remember a much more robust NHS, a functioning public infrastructure, education system and overall a better quality of living. I really don't recall food banks. I'm sure there were some, but nowhere near as pervasive. And no, I wasn't in affluent South either.
