To say that noone under 50 likes liquorice?

Liquorice is the food of the devil and it's slowly dying out as people come to their senses with regards to this disgusting black substance, which has clearly been pulled straight from Satan's bumhole

YABU - I am a weirdo who likes liquorice
YANBU - I am a normal person who agrees that whoever invented this stuff belongs in prison

I am over 50 and I don’t like it. I remember my great aunt used to buy it for me as a child and I never told her I didn’t like it.

49 and loving it. Just picked up a tray of liquorice toffee from the sweetie shop. Kids all love it too. DH - not so much.

Liquorice was one of the things we endured in a 70s childhood. Would I seek it out? No. Would I eat it if that was all available? Yes. Black Jack's? Well that's another matter.

It's hugely popular in the Netherlands ~80% of their sweets are licorice, including some particularly yummy salty varieties 😛

Agreed. Liquorice is fucking rank and belongs in the bin. Even worse is salt liquorice, the mere thought of which makes me want to hurl.

Oooh I really want to try the Lakrids , I don't each chocolate really so if I do it has to count for something .

I like the soft eating liquorice ( used to be Daryl Lea but it changed ) from Lakeland or Costco .

It is a bit of a laxitive though !

DD hates it , DS wouldn't entertain it (under 50 )
