To say that noone under 50 likes liquorice?

Liquorice is the food of the devil and it's slowly dying out as people come to their senses with regards to this disgusting black substance, which has clearly been pulled straight from Satan's bumhole

YABU - I am a weirdo who likes liquorice
YANBU - I am a normal person who agrees that whoever invented this stuff belongs in prison

Nearly 60 and have always loathed it. YANBU, except to imply that it is something older people like.

I'm 39 and love it! But I'm coeliac and struggle to find any that's gluten free, so if any other aficionados can recommend any, please do! Sostrene and Grene stock it, but we don't have one local to me so it's a very rare treat ☹️

I have liked it all my life from the liquorice sticks mum used to give me to now with lovely squidgy stuff. You do have to be careful with it as isnt it dodgy for blood pressure?

i cant stand it but I do like the soft eating liquorice from Lakeland - comes in apple and strawberry flavours and others too.

I'm under 50 (only just!!) love liquorice! I buy a big box of it every Christmas. 😋

I've always liked Liquorice.

It's delicious but the brand name changed a while back and it's not as nice ( still nice just less so)
They did a chocolate filled liquorice (which has now disapperaed off the shelves and website) .

I'm 41 and love it, always have - love aniseed etc too. Was devastated to find out they'd stopped making aniseed imperials.

Liquorice torpedoes and coltsfoot rock are the best! And proper liquorice ice cream which I had for the first time years ago in Monaco.

The sweet and sickly British liquorice doesn't do it for me - except perhaps for the bobbly "Spogs"

Dutch, Danish and Scandinavian liquorice though is something else. Whether the cheap and cheerful "salty fish" or "Piratos" ones, or the fancy versions from BÜLOW (other brands are available) this is completely different from the stuff generally sold in the UK, and much much nicer.

But without liquorice there could be no Black Jacks.

I love licorice allsorts, my favourite sweets. Has to be with sugar, the filled tubes are also nice. I have noticed that allsorts are missing from shops lately.

42 and can’t stand it! DP same age but loves it due to being Dutch. Weirdo.

I quite like it but this has just reminded me of Nigella and her emergency liquorice case like one of those massive professional make-up kits filled with multiple different types of liquorice. She did a Christmas special in which she was cooking a meal for some unsuspecting friends on a barge. She made nuts spiced with liquorice although we suspected she added some kind of different liquorice from the box to every course.

I am 24. I do like it, and will eat it when offered, but it's not something I'd ever crave or buy for myself.

Yuck, I can't stand it. But I do have fond memories of buying one of those sherbet things that came in a paper tube with a liquorice stick sticking out of the top. The idea was you dipped the liquorice into the sherbet, sucked the sherbet off then when it was all gone you would eat the liquorice. I would finish the sherbet then give the liquorice stick to my dad!
