To ask your opinion on the ear biting incident at the Snooker Championship?

A male was caught on camera whispering to a small boy and then biting his ear in a potentially sexual way.

The police are now involved too

What's your opinion on it?

Mine is that it's weird and the police are right to look into it.

You should probably have provided a link for those who haven't seen it though?

I found it very weird, creepy and I appropriate. I hope the kid is OK.

Do you think children's pastors and youth pastors should be male?I had a children's pastor youth pastor in middle school who grew entirely too close to me gave me unwanted hugs,stared at me sexually and I was 12 and he was 50 he eventually started touching me sexually and I grew too scared to say something.This was all in the sight of the other church female goers. Do you think male adult preachers should have open access to children ?

I saw the video and there was creepy behaviour right up until the biting.

The way the man’s demeanour changed when he realised the camera was on them was really shocking.

TBH, I feel quite upset the child’s face has been plastered everywhere. That child is, in my opinion, already in an awful situation and now had their face shown. The child must be very distressed by it all.

Definitely weird. I'm assuming it's his dad? The kid didn't seem shocked or taken aback by it.

Very weird and concerning . As others have said the way the man changed so quickly was alarming. I feel for the child face everywhere now, going to school on Monday for him will be awful.

I clicked on this thread thinking that maybe the match got heated and the players had a fight and someone bit an ear!

That would have been preferable to whatever weirdness is going on here.

It doesn’t look like an isolated incident, does it? The adult appears known to the boy and the boy doesn’t react when the man assaults him.

It is disturbing and I worry for that poor boy. There isn’t an explanation that makes the man’s actions okay.

It’s really weird and I found it so strange that people on Twitter were excusing it as ‘oh it looks like he is the kids dad’ like that made it any less weird?!

That poir lad , he'll have a hard time going back to school after the weekend. Reminded me of the Paul Scholes biting his dds toes, yuk.
