Midnight fireworks

AIBU to think that neighbours should warn other neighbours that they are letting off midnight fireworks? I’m talking quiet village setting here not a busy town or city. I genuinely think it’s really inconsiderate and rude.

It’s NYE. You don’t need to be warned that there will be fireworks at midnight 🤷‍♀️

I mean, it’s not like its a well known celebration or anything is it?

I mean I would prepare for fireworks at midnight . Same as 5th November 🤷‍♂️

I think you just have to expect it tbh.
I’ve just picked up DS and his mates from a party and taken them all to their respective homes. It’s like Beirut out there. But it is every New Year’s Eve🤷‍♀️

You have to expect them on NYE, they are annoying and a complete waste of money in my opinion.

We’ve had them going off for about 4 hours so far. Ddog is very distressed. Has a thunder coat on and Alexa doing white noise but she is in a state bless her. She has become so phobic with loud bangs now that even party poppers set her off.

Not heard any fireworks this year, which is unusual but welcome!
