Midnight fireworks

AIBU to think that neighbours should warn other neighbours that they are letting off midnight fireworks? I’m talking quiet village setting here not a busy town or city. I genuinely think it’s really inconsiderate and rude.

Im for the banning of private fireworks. They were such loud bangs this year. I wouldn’t ban for the sake of my ears, it’s for the animals. I have one dog who has to be drugged, my other dog is always ok, except for last night. The bangs were so loud. He had some sort of faint/fit , lost control off his bladder and was unconscious for about a minute. The vets were engaged until about 2:30 when they said they had had this type of call all night.

Just get them used to loud noises. As I said earlier on the thread, our dog and dog friend watched them.

I'm not stopping having fireworks due to you having a sensitive dog.

I've had a shitty day. The explosions last night were very upsetting. Lots of tears today. It's set me very low.

I have never heard fireworks that loud. Not even at displays. The windows rattled and objects kept hitting the house. New neighbours must have invested hundreds of pounds in those fireworks.

There's no need for them to be so loud. Kids would have been terrified. A few bangs and coloured sparks are fun, but these were just brutal.

Everyone knows there are fireworks at certain events. Nye is one of them. Gardky a shock to the system to realise there will be some x

Then they could ban the sale of anything that isn't a silent one. These exist. They still probably terrify the wildlife but people care so little about that they don't consider the impact anyway.

I used to make fireworks years ago. The “factory” consisted of little huts all over a field, in case you blew yourself up. (Misses point of thread)

midnight is totally normal on NYE. on NYE mine had them at 3.30am which made me furious as it's so selfish and woke us all up.
