Her actions and non actions throughout this whole saga makes it abundantly clear shes clearly just a fake nice person, how disappointed . She needs to go now

Just stop with all this vitriol.

Enough now.

It takes less effort to be kind.

Likeaburstcouch · 05/06/2023 10:54

She's a TV presenter, not your mate. Whether or not she's 'fake' is impossible for you to know and irrelevant to how well she can do her job.

Sissynova · 05/06/2023 10:54

Who cares??? Honestly some of you need something better focus your attention on.

Swrigh1234 · 05/06/2023 10:55

Oh look, #be kind brigade are here to shut you up, OP. You better listen.

007DoubleOSeven · 05/06/2023 10:55

Enough with the witch hunts.

Bucketheadbucketbum · 05/06/2023 10:57

Her job is about the buy in to her personality from the audience

Her smoke and mirrors have been exposed and its annoying she still has a platform.

time for some new talent and opportunities for some fresh faces

Most television personalities are fake, why this is news to people is beyond me!

Just don't watch it.

xXiXx · 05/06/2023 10:57

Does she? I don't watch this show as I have a job but she didn't dupe her husband in to a marriage of convenience, she hasn't had an affair, she wasn't behaving inappropriately to a very young man less than half her age.

From what I have read her crime was that she is ''a bit false''. It's a TV Persona and no man has ever been sacked for having a cheery TV persona.

SapphOhNo · 05/06/2023 10:58

Seriously OP if this is all you have to worry about.

The extent to which people love to bring down celebrities is depressing. Go out in the sun maybe? Get a hobby?

Qilin · 05/06/2023 11:01

She did not have an inappropriate relationship with a young employee.

The woman doesn't not need to be forced to leave her job because her male colleague, and friend, behaved inappropriately.

It's time to move on with regards to the presenters.

An investigation into PS and they way it was handled at ITV can happen. Of anyone else is found to be directly involved then deal with them in the correct ways.

MayThe4th · 05/06/2023 11:01

Get a life.

Comedycook · 05/06/2023 11:01

I've always found her very fake. Much prefer this morning when she's not on it. Would like to see Alison presenting it...she seems like a much more genuine, likeable person.

Oh and do leave off with the #bekind nonsense. I imagine HW is as hard as nails underneath her sweet exterior.

You really need to get a life. Now.

KateyCuckoo · 05/06/2023 11:02

Hey I'm fake as anything when I open the door to a client and I don't visit my personal problems on my work...

Does she deserve this bitterness really?

Bluebells1970 · 05/06/2023 11:04

Yes, please let's all #bekind to groomers and their enablers. And to be people charged with domestic abuse while we're it.

Hmm

Agree with you 100% Have people forgotten the effect it had on Caroline Flack

Frogmila · 05/06/2023 11:05

Why are people surprised that a woman who has been very successful in the media has a steely core and strong personal drive behind her fluffy stage persona? I'm not a particular fan or otherwise but don't see what she has really done wrong or what the probity issues are with her?

KateyCuckoo · 05/06/2023 11:05

Hmm

You have absolutely zero proof of this, grow up.

Testina · 05/06/2023 11:06

You need to just grow up and stop believing in TV “personalities” 🤣

poppy2021 · 05/06/2023 11:06

@Comedycook Do you know her personally. Would you say this to her face?

Frogmila · 05/06/2023 11:07

And why assume, say, Alison Hammond doesn't equally have a bouncy onscreen persona and then the full range of flaws, ambitions, mistakes and emotions offscreen? Why jump to building someone else up to knock them down?

You're obviously not familiar with the concept of a discussion forum.

Greenbrush · 05/06/2023 11:11

FFS. Yet another thread. You’ve had the pick of dozens to add to.

RightWhereYouLeftMe · 05/06/2023 11:11

shes clearly just a fake nice person

I've never seen this morning but all presenters are effectively in "client facing" roles where it's important to be pleasant and nice. Does it really matter what her actual personality is? Obviously behaviour that would be unacceptable in a workplace would matter generally, but I mean does it actually matter that she wouldn't be as friendly to you on the street as she presumably is on the show?

However I do agree that it does weirdly seem like This Morning presents itself as all friends, like you are supposed to have viewed Holly and Phil as your mates. And I suppose if that element is gone, then ITV might decide she can't hold the show in the same way anymore. But I don't think that she has to go

Newyeardietstartstomorrow · 05/06/2023 11:11

I don't ever watch it as I'm at work, but why should a female presenter have to fall on her sword because a male presenter was inappropriate in a relationship she had nothing to do with?
