Yes if there is more to the PS story - and it emerges that he did groom this young person as has been alleged (something we won’t know until after enquiry) then I’m afraid HW enabled it, but if so, she was probably coerced to a degree too.

Exactly this. I'm obviously sorry CF died tragically but she is elevated to Saint status by some. She abused her partner and then couldn't dace the fall out. She probably was a narcissist.

I don't agree. I certainly don't consider her a saint. She was very troubled and she had some issues. But I don't think there is much evidence to suggest she was a narc.

I haven’t watched TM since I was at uni and Richard and Judy were presenters. I do agree that it would be nice to see some fresh faces on ITV (that goes for Ant and Dec too), but I don’t see why she should be chased out of her job when there is no evidence of any wrongdoing. Even PS has said that he lied to her.

If you don’t like her, don’t watch.

I think Jan Moir in the Dreaded Fail nailed it this morning.

Her article points pithily to the huge disconnect in this story.

Either PS was telling the truth, he had a consensual affair in the workplace, he is still friends with the person concerned and despite being unwise, it is no one’s business but his own.

Or there is something else going on that we don’t know about? And given that at least two members of staff have allegedly lodged formal complaints it does seem that there is allegedly more to the story than just an affair but who knows?

I'm sorry but the constant Caroline Flack comparisons are wearing thin. Sadly she had deep rooted mental health problems, a dependency issue including addiction to reading social media comments about herself & was badly let down re safeguarding by ITV, her employers. Sadly she violently assaulted her partner & the ensuing court case was seemingly the last straw for her. PS is not Caroline Flack and neither is HW. Schofield was using the memory of Caroline to evoke pity for himself & fire a deflection bullet at ITV bosses. HW may be unpleasant behind the scenes but why should her job be at risk because of a manipulative, conniving little sleazy man.

Hilarious! You know her job is to present a false image to drag the viewers in, yet your annoyed that her image is indeed false 🤷‍♀️

Put it this way, if Holly had done something questionable, would Scofield be expected to fall on his sword?
Also, since everyone os talking about this, I imagine that TM's viewing figures have shot up. Holly won't be going anywhere --it is in ITVs interest to keep people talking about this.
