To think it’s already getting too hot…

I am already starting to get hot! I think after a long cold winter of blankets on and no heating, we are all used to much lower temperatures. I know we’ve not even hit the 20’s yet but honest to god, I’m sat at home with a fan on full right on me. No idea how I am going to survive when it gets any hotter. I hate the summer and am just thankful that our ‘warm’ period seems to be reduced this year as sometimes by now we’ve had blaring heat!

What a ridiculous thread. If you’re too hot already in very mild weather then it’s obviously something medical, there is no way any normal heathy person would be ‘boiling’

I'm a gardener in NE England and I'm desperate for it to get hotter! I feel like it's been a long, cold and wet Winter to be working outside. Bring on the heat!

Are you overweight OP?

I ask because I used to always “run hot”, think short sleeves and no jacket in November. I then lost over half my body weight to be at a healthy BMI, and am permanently cold-sitting in my oodie now!

Where I am in the Uk it’s not been hot at all yet. Today was meant to be hot but it was drizzly and grey all day

I agree, I’m in SE London and apart from about 10 mins of sunshine this morning it’s been overcast all day. The 20 degrees forecast never happened, it’s been more like 12/15. I normally run hot but I’ve been feeling the chill today.

Yep mine came on last night too. It was 27 today in the conservatory but not that warm outside. I'm near Brighton

Its the coldest spring in 50 years the met office said. I think it's an internal thermostat issue too.

NW London and I don't think we got a crack of sunshine all day. The forecast said it was 19 degrees but I'm calling fake news!

It's been lovely today, certainly not too hot. We've spent the winter with the heating at 14, and only on for a few hours a day. Yes, we got used to colder temperatures but that doesn't mean I don't love summer! Looking forward to sleeping with the windows wide open all night and the breeze blowing through the bedroom 😌.

So the sun has been out today . Nice to feel warmth on your face . However even as a heat struggler I can honestly say it was perfectly pleasant . Where are you op ?

I can't cope with any sun on me . heat unfortunately. Anything over 20 makes me really feel awful. It's almost that but not quite, so today's been OK, but I am completely dreading summer if it's too hot. We're all different, it's true.

I know some people feel warmer than others and I'm not trying to be nasty but I have only just started going out without a coat on. The thought of it being to hot is almost laughable.

It’s been really warm in my corner of Yorkshire today, been in the garden for hours in shorts and a vest top, face is a bit pink. Bloody love it, more please.
