To think it’s already getting too hot…

I am already starting to get hot! I think after a long cold winter of blankets on and no heating, we are all used to much lower temperatures. I know we’ve not even hit the 20’s yet but honest to god, I’m sat at home with a fan on full right on me. No idea how I am going to survive when it gets any hotter. I hate the summer and am just thankful that our ‘warm’ period seems to be reduced this year as sometimes by now we’ve had blaring heat!

Echoing other people in Wales - it’s 20/21 and been sat outside all afternoon. Even had a little snooze on the outdoor sofa. Feel so happy so yes YABU! 😎

It's very warm where I am in the south west. We were in the garden earlier sunbathing and slathered in suncream. BBQ is going on shortly.

I think it's okay to have the first warm day of year and feel it's too much, especially with the summer ahead. Some people do struggle in the heat and the first proper sunshine can be a bit of a shock! On a separate note I'm surprised to hear that people put their heating on in May...

Am in SE and yes it’s sunny but the breeze is actually really cold ! Had to wear a jumper whilst walking the dog !

I had the heating on all week and this morning ,before the sun started shining .

We had to put the heating on for an hour this morning, it was so cold. Derbyshire.

it has been sunny here for the last couple of hours and it feels very warm in my back garden now.

But I bet it’ll be chilly again this evening.

I think you need to see a doctor and get your vitals checked. A healthy person shouldn’t be burning up in 14C.

Absolutely not! Right now I'm sitting outside in a sports bra and trousers and I'm thinking it's a bit too warm in the sun for slippers. Went to the supermarket with a cropped hoodie on and I was freezing.

I need sun, I'm not one for the cold.

Gorgeous here on the Wiltshire/Dorset border just right at about 19 degrees with a breeze. Sitting in the garden in jeans and a tshirt and washing drying nicely!

To think it’s already getting too hot…

I agree with the OP, it feels very hot despite only being 20 degrees. I’ve had to keep coming in out of the sun, and I’m normally quite tolerant of heat.

I am not complaining though! About time too.

I wish. It's only 16C out and this is the nicest day of the year so far.

I still have my heating in some days.

Western Europe, 22 here.
I don’t like summer and summer doesn’t like me.
red face, squinty, sweaty, mozzy bites.
have to cover up, haven’t a clue what to wear (dislike “summer dresses” etc)
roll on Autumn!
