The same celebs keep getting mentioned time and time again, so maybes not an off day! IE:Cilla, Jim Davison, James off fat friends, etc.. I also had the misfortune to work alongside Freddie Star and Charlie Drake years ago.. Horrible rude men!
The Krankies were nice to me🤩 Janette even said she could see my 'Drawers' when I was going up some stairs! 🤣A young 16 year old (that I was then) had never before heard knickers called that😁

I knew someone who worked at the Royal Academy, so not my story...
He told me that David Attenborough was absolutely vile.
( I know I couldn't believe it either)
Apparently the Academy does out of hours openings for their special members. On this occasion J had to open up, was thrilled to do so as he was a huge fan of DH.
Whilst unlocking the areas he turned to David H and mentioned he thought the last episode of xxx was the best TV he had ever seen. DH stood there and stared at him before saying coldly.. " I don't think someone like you should be talking to someone like me"
J was mortified.
On another occasion DH threw his coat at J and told him to take care of it.
He didn't left the coat on the floor and walked away.
Has never watched anything he's made since. Apparently his partner looked embarrassed both times.

I had to run an event with Woody Harrison once. He was a miserable, short man who didn't look me in the eye while he gave me directions. He chugged wine from a bottle at the back of the event until it was time for him to go on stage, where he preached about his vegan, sober life. His assistant kept hitting on me and trying to get me to come out drinking by with them afterwards. I might have considered it but I really didn't want to spend my evening with such a miserable sod.

Oh, and I worked with Paxman once. He brought his dog so I looked after her. Gorgeous spaniel. Anyway, I was chatting to him about his dog and mentioned k had a chihuahua and he called me "deranged"... after I spent an hour holding his dog while controlling the site... nice one...

Considering what he's doing for the natural world I would understand why mere mortals wouldn't be allowed near him. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't super nice, he's posher than the queen and just as old, but seeing as his "partner" died 25 years ago I'm struggling to believe the OPs story actually happened.

I’m quite pleased to hear David Attenborough is a twat. It makes me feel better about not being able to stand him popping up on my telly every five minutes lecturing me about climate change, when it’s not me whose entire career is thanks to the wonders of air travel

Rowan Atkinson... I met him at the stage door after seeing him play Fagin in Oliver. He was very unfriendly. I've heard similar stories from other people. There was an arrogance about him.

On the flip side, Graham Norton is one of the nicest I've met. He was very friendly and unassuming.

I used to work at the BBC in Bristol where the Natural History Unit is based. David Attenborough is not a twat, he is a very polite person and I've never heard a bad word said about him, which is unusual for a TV presenter and even more so for someone who was a senior manager at the BBC.

Worked with Graham Norton many years ago. He was the the nastiest most vile, self important celebrity I've ever come across and I've worked with many over the years including some huge American stars. Maybe he's mellowed.
