My Dad worked with Attenborough for years at the BBC. Delightful man. Ditto David Bellamy.

He also worked with Richard Madeley. I rarely hear my dad swear. He swears about Madeley....

A few family members work in TV and to be honest the vast majority of stars seem to be lovely. One or two can be a bit precious but they're often very insecure. The reputation of the actors etc goes before them and there's not that many that have bad reps but some are known to be vile to work with.

Nope, she's saying Meghan Markle was the worst. In ways we're yet to find out.

Love these stories. I'm pleased that the people I think are nice, are turning out to be so, and the people I think are twatty are also twatty.

Only time I've ever been wrong about certain people giving me the creeps was Rolf Harris.

I dunno there's loads of people in these threads that have said that Anton du beke dancer matey is really nice but I dealt with him daily for years and he was a fucking arsehole each and every time

Nooooo don't read the previous thread , my flab has been gasted by the news that the lovely Dr Brian May isn't as perfect as I thought he was

I'm going to attribute his tardy behaviour on his clogs rubbing his toes or one of his rescue hedgehogs being ill

The most lovely person I have ever encountered was Joel Dommet. He was sat near us having a pint on the grass with his friend. He had literally JUST sat down and a couple of teens came up to him to ask for a selfie. He was so friendly and warm with them, taking time to chat and having his picture taken. And he didn’t complain about them after they had gone either! A genuinely lovely person!

Chris Tarrant . I was a contestant on WWTBAM many years ago and he was awful.

On the other hand I met Zoe Ball and she was lovely.

Princess Diana. Very full of herself.

Adjoa Andoh. Worked on a production with her in backstage role. She was nice to the actors but had several people (including me) in tears. She is very controlling and won’t listen, extremely rude.

Lowering the tone a bit, worst person I’ve met is Mr Tumble. Totally ignored my daughter who has Down Syndrome who ran up to him, he was filming in a Special Needs School.

My husband supplied insects for one of the David Attenborough programs. He spent four days up in london with him and his team and had a brilliant time. Said DA was wonderful, signed a load of books for the kids and was genuinely interested in what he was doing for research.

This was 20 ish years ago when I was skinnier and was at uni, but Tim Westwood was DJing a special event and although I wasn’t a fan it was a night out and I went to watch him perform in a fairly tiny dress.

He marched in to the dark room in sunglasses and a huge puffer jacket with two huge bouncers on either side. He stoped and told me some crass things and basically he would shag me back stage 🤢 I wanted to slap him but I didn’t want to get thrown out so I told him to fuck off and walked away.

He obviously doesn’t have a good rep so I’m sure that I haven’t shocked anyone with this.

This makes much more sense that it’s Richard because also David Attenborough hasn’t got a partner.

I think if people are going to name and shame huge stars they should be careful to be correct. Pretty sure

Stuart Hall. Honestly the most ignorant, arrogant, loathsome piece of shit. But could turn some charm on if he thought you were useful. I wasn’t surprised about Yewree at all, but think it was all about arrogance and control.

Simon Pegg is a dick. Rude and acted like he was above everyone else. I was so disappointed as I love Spaced.

Jo brand was once at a firework display with her kids. I was probably about 11 and I recognised her face and maybe looked a little too hard and she gave me a really filthy look. Maybe deserved if it’s an adult but I would have been 11/12 ish..

I did a charity event with Jo Brand and she was an absolute delight. Very funny and co-operative and lovely.
