what weird or unusual smells do you really like?!

I love petrol (not unusual I know but still!) and absolutely adore the smell of teabags. Not fruit or herbal tea, just typical breakfast teabags. I absolutely love them and when I was a child I used to sit with them at my nose and smell them so much (then when I blew my nose it was black and I thought it was hilarious) but even as an adult I adore the smell. I don’t really like the smell of tea, it’s just the teabags!

so, what unusual smells do you like?!

I love the smell of pony's noses and the bit just under their mane. My old boy used to stand patiently for ages while I inhaled him. I hardly ever get to be around horses these days so have to be content with trying to catch a waft if they pass me in the park.

Popcorn paws!!

The luminous orange fluid I siphon off my skanky compost bins. The dog licked it once and had a bad stomach. It's disgusting but it's so specific that I like it. Also the burning pile of horse muck from the stables I used to hang out at, and once I made plant feed using loads of jack-by-the-hedge. It smelled like garlic and sulphurous farts. If I got it on me it lasted ages.

The stuff you used to paint fences with.. Think its spelled "creosote". Loved that smell..
