what weird or unusual smells do you really like?!

I love petrol (not unusual I know but still!) and absolutely adore the smell of teabags. Not fruit or herbal tea, just typical breakfast teabags. I absolutely love them and when I was a child I used to sit with them at my nose and smell them so much (then when I blew my nose it was black and I thought it was hilarious) but even as an adult I adore the smell. I don’t really like the smell of tea, it’s just the teabags!

The smell underneath our train station is divine.

I love the smell of parts of the underground especially south northern line Tooting and Colliers Wood

Another vote for books - although it can be a bit musty, I love walking into a secondhand bookshop.

Yes, this! I love the smell of swimming pools. And even more weirdly, the smell when you sweat the chloring out again at the gym the following day.

@Pava22 funny I love the smell of leather but when I was pregnant it made me so sick I couldn't use my handbags and seriously considered getting rid of our brand new slouchy leather sofa that I had coveted for months... it got delivered just as all day sickness kicked in and I didn't go into my living room for about 2 and a half trimesters. 😁
Thankfully I am back to loving the smell.

First pregnancy I had a very expensive fig candle- it was horrendous. Even having it in the room unlit made me gag.
We lived in a flat with a balcony at the time and candle was left outside. I could still smell it when the balcony door was left open so I binned it. DH was not impressed.

The musty smell in small, old church halls. Smells a bit like damp wood?

My shed, it smells of wood and compost. I love it!

The fish counter. Used to go out to the fish van with my gran when I was younger and inhale. Everyone tells me this is super weird. Also like the smell of chlorine or fake tan on my skin.

I love the smell of Cathedrals. It's that lingering incense mixed with a coldness of stone and an air of mystery.

Love the smell of olds 80's plastic toys- glow worms, my little ponies etc. Have a sweet plasticy smell.
