I need some mass power here. Someone please help an autistic woman out here. This is a huge deal and having a significant impact on me right now - although I recognise it's trivial.

Aplro have changed the colour of their oat milk packaging from a cream/beige colour to blue. The milk is also whiter and now separates in.my coffee whereas it didn't before.

What oat milk do you use that doesn't separate in coffee? Alpro oat is the only one I've used for a long long time.

I feel foolish and embarrassed because I know it's trivial but this is so important to me.

My friend buys one from asda

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 09/09/2022 07:17

I use oatly barista. It's fine in coffee :)

latelydaydreams · 09/09/2022 07:17

Try Oatly Barista.

Augend23 · 09/09/2022 07:17

I don't drink oat milk but oatly barista is the one my vegan friend is a fan of, and is designed to work in coffee I think.

FfeminyddCymraeg · 09/09/2022 07:17

Have you tried oatly barista?

00100001 · 09/09/2022 07:18

Yy for the barista version

Newuser82 · 09/09/2022 07:18

Have you tried the barista oat milk? I find that doesn't separate as much and it tastes lovely.

latelydaydreams · 09/09/2022 07:18

i would think most of the Barista style ones would be ok.

TigerRag · 09/09/2022 07:18

Oatly or Lidl own brand

Mushroomlady · 09/09/2022 07:19

Oatly Barista is the creme de la crème, but is more expensive. I bulk buy when it's on offer.
Moma is my second choice.

newjobwhodisperhaps · 09/09/2022 07:19

Oatly Whole (dark blue packaging) need to shake first

Or Califia Farms Oat Barista milk I which is on offer at Amazon £9 for 6

Nonunsnonunsnone · 09/09/2022 07:20

I've tried them all and honestly love the coop 79p one

Whoareyoumyfriend · 09/09/2022 07:22

Asda is a no.
Lidl is a no.

I'll try the oatly barista but I'll have to force myself. I can't drink the normal Oatly one.

Jesus. What a god damn mess. I'm so embarrassed

Have you read the ingredients on Oatly Barista?? It's grim reading

Try Plenish Oat milk. It's only oat milk and a bit of salt

Lcb123 · 09/09/2022 07:25

Any barista version! I think the MOMA one

QuebecBagnet · 09/09/2022 07:25

Glebe farm barista oat milk doesn’t separate.

Whoareyoumyfriend · 09/09/2022 07:29

Ingredients aren't something I care about. I just need it right

Lilk, it's made from oat and rice and is the best one I've tried. Available from Holland and Barrett and Ocado. Or Rude Health Rice Barista as a second choice if you can't get Lilk. I find Oatly upsets my stomach.

999caffeineplease · 09/09/2022 07:31

Oatly barista/regular oatly
minor figures
califa farms

Oat milk normally separates if the thing you’re adding it too is too acidic. You’ve not changed your coffee by any chance?

RealBecca · 09/09/2022 07:34

My soya milk separates if I dont put a lot in very quickly. Could you try that with the oat milk? Slop the whole portion in rather than gently pouring?

RealBecca · 09/09/2022 07:34

As for the packaging, can you get a nice glass bottle to decant it into?

wibblewobbleball · 09/09/2022 07:34

OP don't be embarrassed, I class this as a Real Big Problem and I don't have autism Brew Coffee being right is coffee being right whoever you are!! Defiantly try any of the Barista oat milks, there's an alpro one as well as oatly and my local coffee shop use one called Minor Figures which is nice too.

UnicornMumcraft · 09/09/2022 07:34

We get ours from the milkman (milk and more), I much prefer it to the named brands.

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 09/09/2022 07:35

Oatly barista, or I've also recently discovered Califia farm barista which is just as good.

SleeplessInEngland · 09/09/2022 07:37

Take this as an opportunity to get into drinking coffee as it should be: black.
