To pull my cleaner up on this?

I have a TikTok account but don’t post on it, just watch other videos!

Like instagram TikTok pushes accounts linked to phone contacts to your home page.

Scrolling yesterday, I’ve been astounded to find multiple videos posted by my cleaner dancing, singing and wearing accessories (hat and sunglasses) in my bedroom on her account. She’s done this many times as she has different outfits on in each. She’s sat on my bed, dancing in my mirror and posing with my hat (left out on a hanger) and sunglasses taken from my bedside table.

She cleans once every two weeks for 2 hours and I leave her alone for one hour so she can get my office done as I WFH. I have found her so far trustworthy although she’s damaged a few things I’ve mentioned to her.

Her cleaning is good but I find her a bit strange and blunt but thought that’s a language barrier thing (she’s asked a few times how I can afford to live alone in my flat)

I want to raise it with her- but am I overreacting?

Are you serious? Who are you to expect op to do that? Don’t be so ridiculous.

Does she have videos from other people's homes that she works in, I wonder?

This would make me feel really uncomfortable, it's a breach of trust and your privacy and I'd want my key back asap.

@SunscreenCentral i don’t know what her house looks like but there are multiple videos in different places so assume she’s doing it elsewhere. Trying to find out if anyone else might be affected.

I'm actually surprised some people don't believe the OP.

There are a lot of stupid, inappropriate people in this world and some make tiktoks.

There are ones like people dancing in hospital while their son is on a trolley next to them or something, all sorts of things.

Please don't share any videos to posters to prove anything OP. You really don't need to. I think it's shameful so many posters or so eager for proof and happy to receive them from you. If they're not happy with your post they don't need to comment.

I worked for years as a housekeeper and I would advise you to fire her for theft - - you were paying for her to work cleaning, not to play at movie making.

Firstly OP, she’s not actually cleaning for 2 hours, is she? She’s dicking around on your dime.

Secondly, she’s probably damaged those items whilst doing these videos.

Sack her. Tell her why. Let others know.

I would sack her, it's such a breach of privacy (and also shows she's not spending as much time working as you're paying her for.)

There are plenty of cleaners who aren't cheeky and immature, and put their heart and pride into their job (I was one.)

If OP was paying for 2 hours of CLEANING and the cleaner was not working, isn't that theft?

You also say she's damaged multiple items @Trendytrousers . That shouldn't happen that often. It's happening because she doesn't care about your home or about doing her work in a conscientious way.

I’d like to point out it’s been more than once as she’s got two different outfits on and in one she’s sat on the end of my bed posing in mirror and in another she’s propped it up and is doing some weird acting thing in my room and putting on my hat.

One video I’d probably forgive but there’s three videos I can see and some photos made onto a gallery so I think she definitely needs to go

She's doing tictoks while she's supposed to be working Op, 2 hours isn't very long and she's wasting time making videos. Get your key off her and don't have her back.

Can you add the cleaner as a friend? Ask her why she isn't cleaning and has your belongs on...bet she would be mortified.
