The break up of the UK seems high chance to me, maybe 60/40 to be voted for within the next ten years. They don't ever seem to ask the English what would you personally vote?

I wouldn't get a vote but given the feelings of a lot of English people I know/have met, yes. The last time I was there I heard so many Anti Scottish/N Irish comments. Apparently we're all whingeing benefit abusers and Hadrian's wall needs rebuilding...

I wouldnt vote for it but i think many would. I didnt think people would vote to leave the EU so i think i'm a rubbish guage for what other peoole do.

In my humble opinion, and based on little evidence, my answer would be no, the English wouldn't vote to be independent.

Bearnecessity, it’s not “the Scots” who are whinging. Just the SNP supporters. Most of us up here can’t stand them and are happy to be in the UK. And half a million English people actually live in Scotland- I’m one of them!

Yes I think the English would vote for independence because there would be a massive propaganda campaign about the whiny and ungrateful other nations and how England would be better off without them.

I would hate to lose Scotland or Wales, but I’d vote for independence from Northern Ireland, it causes so many problems for the rest of the UK and it’s already kind of part if Ireland - I mean you can be born in Northern Ireland but choose to be on the Irish Olympic team, can get an Irish passport etc. And now we have a customs border with them too. It just doesn’t make any sense that Northern Ireland is part of UK and means we’re basically stuck with an open border with the EU which noone wants.

I would, fed up with all the anti English attitudes. I have Welsh relativise and the hateful comments that come from them are awful and hateful.
