I just watched it too. Didn't realise they were doing anything. Was it kept secret? I enjoyed it, sorry.

I think some of it was done using drones?

Is that the one on the BBC? That was awful - I turned it off when they got to about the second line of the poem / speech.

It’s up over my sister - I thought they were just drones taking photos (d’oh) but it’s so creative. I love the stag running across the sky.

I thought they were fab, much much better than the usual. Plus I found it quite emotional

Was that kept secret? Wasn’t expecting I liked it a lot. Actually preferred it to other years.

I’d have found it moving if the government actually showed some respect for the NHS. I switched off after the first few minutes ou5 of anger, I’m sure the overwhelmed doctors and nurses this evening would prefer more than this.

It's nothing to do with the government is it? Presuming you're talking about the London drones which were on the BBC. I thought it was organised by the Mayor of London. It's been quite anti-government in the past!

Agree OP. I only saw bits of it, but after the year we’ve had!! Bunch of fascist crap.

NHS worker here and I would have expected no less from this shower of dickheads.

No civilised society should ever rely on the government for parties.

Having said that I did attend a wonderful party at the bar in the houses of Parliament a few years ago.

I actually thought it was better than usual. The drones especially were spectacular. I liked that it wasn't all on the London Eye, for a change.

NY fireworks are organised by the local government.

We really enjoyed it. And I'm not a fan of the government.
