I’d have found it moving if the government actually showed some respect for the NHS. I switched off after the first few minutes ou5 of anger, I’m sure the overwhelmed doctors and nurses this evening would prefer more than this.

this was what pissed me off. There were selective emotional tear jerkers at a time when we know the situation is dire for the NHS and the rest of us. People who don't follow the rules will suffer more than the rest of us, but people who are doing what they can but are obliged to come into contact with others will get sick, long term sick and die.

I thought they should have stopped the Alicia Keys thing earlier, done the recap bit of clap for carers, virus, Captain Tom etc, then had the bongs and a bit more light show with something about looking forward over it.

I really enjoyed it, loved the drones, hope they do that again next year. Like a pp said I got quite emotional especially Especially as I wasn’t expecting anything

I enjoyed it, loved the drones.

I do think the fireworks were real. I'm assuming they kept it all quiet. You could see that the bridges etc were all empty apart from the traffic.

This is the million dollar question isn't it. I really liked it, I thought it was quite tastefully done, I was surprised they didn't mentioned brexit though, it's a pretty big deal at the mo!

I loved it. A good end to a crap year. I hope that 2021 will be better.

Tonight at 11pm I saw fireworks from my window. They went on for 10 minutes. Looked like from the end of road. Then at midnight more fireworks through window at the back. About 3 minutes. I wasn't expecting any this year. Some people must have saved them from Nov 5 th. Child on bed do missed them.

Loved that it finished with David Attenborough too. Also the fists on BLM, when there was a few of them, thought that was brilliant and I’m glad they included it!
