AIBU to say that the majority of women do not wear matching underwear daily?

I rarely wear matching sets of knickers and bras. A couple of reasons:

1. I don't usually like the knickers that match the bras I like (I'm a 32G so it's already hard to find suitable bras that I like)

1. I like my knickers to be comfortable and invisible under clothes (no VPL thank you very much) and those that come with my bras usually aren't.

However as most of my bras are black I usually just pair them with plain black knickers, which did not come as a set with the bra.

I don't think I'm unusual to not wear matching bra & knickers sets every day. So AIBU to think the majority of women do not wear matching bra & knickers sets on a daily basis?

Mine always matches and I won't buy a bra if I don't like the knickers. I'm in the minority though.

I just pull out whatever.

I do. I do it because I like it.

I’m an unusual size and have to spend a small fortune in my bras. Not a chance I’m paying the ridiculous price for the matching pants that are never as comfortable or durable as the cheap ones I buy.

I'm traumatised enough trying to find a bra in my size. Trying to find matching knickers would send me over the edge.

Half the time mine aren't even the same colour let alone nicely matched. YANBU.

I can't even seem to get my socks to match these days

Am very particular with knickers! Most matching ones are just not something I can wear on a everyday basis.

I match up underwear that doesn’t come in sets. I have to buy expensive bras as I have a big bust but I don’t want to spend a lot on knickers. So il buy cheap knickers to match the bras, eg bravissimo black lace bra with black lace knickers from primark
But then if you saw them together you probably wouldn’t know they didn’t match

How does the Atkins diet mismatch your bra and pants?

I didn’t pop for a week when I did the Atkins but it didn’t affect my underwear choices. I’m intrigued.

Today’s eclectic combo is a nude bra (Simone Perele no less) unmatched with bright red M&S Brazilian briefs with reindeer print!

I was wearing a red skirt and cream jumper so my undies were chosen to suit what was over the top....

I always buy black, white and nude bras and knickers too but not matching sets. Black bras have not of lace on and black knickers lace at front so they kind of look matching though.

Why wouldn't you find pants to match? I've always seen a full range of sizes.

I only wear matching sets and wash after every wear.

No idea it's just what she told all of us granddaughters, match so the paramedics wouldnt see a mismatched set 😂 regardless of the fact we could have just broken our arm or got a concussion so no need to cut open your clothes in front of Mrs Jones three doors up. Managed to get to my thirties without showing everyone my underwear ..... the one day I dont match I'll have jinxed myself.

No. I only wear soft bras/bralettes now. When I wore proper bras I often found the matching pants were awful, wretched little scraps of material with tiny gussets.
