AIBU to say that the majority of women do not wear matching underwear daily?

I rarely wear matching sets of knickers and bras. A couple of reasons:

1. I don't usually like the knickers that match the bras I like (I'm a 32G so it's already hard to find suitable bras that I like)

1. I like my knickers to be comfortable and invisible under clothes (no VPL thank you very much) and those that come with my bras usually aren't.

However as most of my bras are black I usually just pair them with plain black knickers, which did not come as a set with the bra.

I don't think I'm unusual to not wear matching bra & knickers sets every day. So AIBU to think the majority of women do not wear matching bra & knickers sets on a daily basis?

Currently rocking post pregnancy, nipple hugging, floral sprigged, thrush avoiding, baggy, cotton pants. I dread to think that the bra would look like that matched these fuckers.

Almost every day. I love underwear the same way some women love bags or shoes. I have a very awkward size (28G) so can't buy from supermarkets or M&S. I usually get Freya, whenever and where ever I can on sale online and I always get a matching short/brief and thong. They're bright and young and fun patterns, not 'sexy' but agree with PP it makes me so happy and I feel put together.

Have never understood matching sets. What if your clothes themselves are a light top with dark bottoms (standard going if you're self-conscious about your hips and bum, and easier to keep clean)?

Asda George do big cartoon knickers with superman or Harry Potter on etc. I buy those and wear a black bra. Ive never been girly and give no shits really even when I know I'm going to be showing them to a man. Il be like "do you like my Harry Potter pants ? Look at the back it says expelliarmus!" 😁😁

I don't wear matching sets. I like quite fitted clothes so I only wear t shirt style seamless bras (also quite small of chest so I love the gel ones). I also don't wash bras very often as it ruins them. Obviously pants are washed after every wear so I get through 10 x pants per wash in contrast to bras.

Like PPs most of my bras and pants are black so not too different.

I think there are quite a few women who wear matching sets though. Apparently my husband's first wife always did. Why he told me that I've no idea.

Depends on where I’m going
If it’s a night out or for a meal or something then I will wear nice matching lingerie - I have loads
If it’s every day stuff then it just sports bras and leggings - no pants.
I hate wearing pants full stop

I wear matching sets but reading replies it looks like I’m one of very few people who do!
I can’t imagine not tbh.

I'll no sooner match my knickers with my bra than my socks.

I buy the best value undies that will fit me comfortably, so no I have never worn matching underwear.
If I find a nice bra then usually the knickers are the worst possible shape for me so I don't bother. As long as they're clean and in decent condition, I don't really care.

I must say one of the reasons why I sometimes 'match' is because I buy lots of black underwear so it doesn't go grey or pink in the wash like white does. So while they are not sets, my bras and knickers are both black at least two or three days a week. On those days I feel quite proud of myself!

I don't own any matching sets!
