Ever just order a curry on a Friday night, or get shitfaced together and have wild sex? Do they clean their children's vomit or does the help do that? Do they ever just slob around the house all day like slobs? Do they ever shout at their children? Do they ever swear?

So many questions! I just can't picture them being normal people.

I would love to be a fly on their wall

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/11/2020 13:56

Strange post. I’m sure they do all those things, they are humans.

ruportmurdoch · 18/11/2020 13:57

@DobbyTheHouseElk do they though?

The international papers have examined PW's behaviour in some detail Hmm and I think all that's left there is a marriage of convenience.

I feel quite sad for her. She has everything on the surface but...not all that glitters, as they say.

Whatsonmymindgrapes · 18/11/2020 14:00

@PicsInRed oh really!? Like what?

Skysblue · 18/11/2020 14:00

Wow, his parents marriage age and mother’s death is all over netflix and the international media again - so you figured it’d be a great time to start a thread

ZaraW · 18/11/2020 14:00

Nobody has an idea what their relationship is like and if you rely on the tabloids then you probably believe what they tell you.

AriesTheRam · 18/11/2020 14:03

They're not going to ring up the local curry house and order but I bet if they fancy an Indian meal someone could source one for them!

PicsInRed · 18/11/2020 14:05

Easily googleable. Our courts have no reach abroad so look to the foreign press. Like in the 1930s and again in the 80s, they'll report what is unsaid (or strongly hinted only) here. I doubt W&K do curry and chill.

Glitterblue · 18/11/2020 14:07

I bet they do. My brother knew prince William at university and said he was very down to earth and a really lovely guy, and that he tried to be as "normal" as he was able to.

Floatyboat · 18/11/2020 14:08

Can someone say what search terms I might use to identify foreign media articles discussing Prince William's fidelity?

AlternativePerspective · 18/11/2020 14:08

The international papers have examined PW's behaviour in some detail it’s in the tabloids, so it must be true..... Hmm.

Seriously why do people have to over-analyse other people’s marriages to the extent they’re not unhappy unless they can conclude that there isn’t actually a genuine relationship there?

What do people have to gain from it? It’s just bitchy and unnecessary.

i have often wondered if e.g. the queen goes downstairs and just makes herself a cup of tea, but not because I want to believe that it’s all fake, more because the press paint these people in such a different light that the truth must be so much nearer to our own lives...

PrincessNutNut · 18/11/2020 14:08

There has been enough divorce in that family, including in the direct line of succession, for them to part ways with relative ease if they don't want to stay married. They already broke up once and decided to get back together. We don't know them, anything is possible.

At any rate, I'm obviously reading different stories because all I'm seeing is how amazing Kate is for the RF, so much better than that terrible American prince-stealer whose heritage is totally not an issue for anyone at all, oh no. A recently deleted thread dedicated to bashing Harry and Meghan had people taking pot shots at her for wearing a black coat and for not just leaving it to fate that a random person would snap a blurry iPhone picture of them to sell to the tabloids.

The only thing we can be certain about is that Princess Anne is just brilliant.

AlternativePerspective · 18/11/2020 14:10

Can someone say what search terms I might use to identify foreign media articles discussing Prince William's fidelity? why? Why is it so important for you to know.

Have people become sick of slagging off harry and Meghan so now you have to start slagging off William and Kate?

Vile thread...

whatwouldyoudo85 · 18/11/2020 14:10

I'd love to know this too.

If the kids get up at 5am, do you think they get up with them? Or does a nanny do that?

amymel2016 · 18/11/2020 14:11

I’m sure I saw an interview with them about things like this and they were asked if they order take a ways. They said they do but people tend to go and collect them because delivery companies tend to think it’s a hoax if things are ordered to Kensington Palace!

peasoup8 · 18/11/2020 14:12

If the kids get up at 5am, do you think they get up with them? Or does a nanny do that?

Surely the nanny. Just because if I had a nanny, I would not be getting up at 5am with my kids!

PucePanther · 18/11/2020 14:12

They can’t just order a curry, their food will be very carefully checked and supervised by security in case someone tries to poison them. They undoubtedly have nights off but I doubt they do their own cleaning. Even I wouldn’t do my own cleaning if I could afford someone else to do it!

Bibidy · 18/11/2020 14:12

I doubt anyone would clean up vomit if they had staff to do it for them!

Anon778833 · 18/11/2020 14:13

Nope. It's probably a transactional marriage at this point.

StripyTigerTail · 18/11/2020 14:13

Don't they have chefs? Why would you order a takeaway if you have someone to cook for you? I know she likes (used to like) Haribo as they had some at their wedding.

I think they are meant to be hands on parents. I am sure they've had to clean baby / child sick in their time.

The sex question is weird. Why would their sex be less interesting than anyone else's? Probably the same as any married couple with young kids.

I am sure they swear. I have seen pictures of her having words with Charlotte at a wedding, but not "shouting" aggressively. Who does that to young kids anyway?

They seem to have busy schedules, but I'm sure they have down time where they sit around the house.

There are so many interviews and programs with them in them. They aren't always formal. Much of their work as royals is quite casual. I mean, they are human beings.

Changechangychange · 18/11/2020 14:18

Ever just order a curry on a Friday night, or get shitfaced together and have wild sex?

  • Prince Harry certainly eats curries, no reason to think William doesn’t. The army eat a lot of curries IME. But K&W have chefs, so probably not ordering in from the local Star of India.

Kate does not look like a woman who gets shit faced to me. Maybe when she was younger.

Do they clean their children's vomit or does the help do that?

  • if you had servants, would you clean up vomit?

Do they ever just slob around the house all day like slobs?

  • Nine days out of ten I would imagine. Especially now, with no public engagements.

Do they ever shout at their children?

  • they have a team of nannies, so while it is possible they shout at their kids, they don’t need to do their own child discipline.

Do they ever swear?

  • Yes, William has definitely been caught on camera swearing. Not sure about Kate.
PrincessNutNut · 18/11/2020 14:20

Why would their sex be less interesting than anyone else's?

My husband and I have various props and toys that we probably wouldn't use if we couldn't obtain them discreetly without anyone else knowing. Maybe they can use gold cord from the bed drapes or something.

Laiste · 18/11/2020 14:22

No takeaways. (chef)
They might have a few drinks together but she doesn't get properly pissed very often these days.
Yes, clearing up sick.
Slob round the house all day - no.
Shout at the children - very rarely.
Swear - sometimes, but not at the kids.

ParisianLady · 18/11/2020 14:23

@AlternativePerspective I know someone that had impromptu tea with the queen, she put the kettle on herself, made it herself and they even had biscuits.
