To ask if you think Prince William and Kate Middleton...

Ever just order a curry on a Friday night, or get shitfaced together and have wild sex? Do they clean their children's vomit or does the help do that? Do they ever just slob around the house all day like slobs? Do they ever shout at their children? Do they ever swear?

So many questions! I just can't picture them being normal people.

Brother is called James.

Yes, I know. I'm saying that a lot of people who rush to characterise the Middleton sisters and their mother as predatory social climbers (remember all that guff about Carole having been an AIR STEWARDESS???) probably couldn't even name the male relatives, at least not without a stealthy Google. Of course they'll deny that they did that, whatever. It's always women who are seen this way, and the men as having been literally caught in traps this way.

William was a very handsome young prince (and frankly he wouldn't be short of offers if he became single now) who lived through his parents' very public and horrible divorce. He was quite public about being in no rush to marry. I'm quite sure that he made a very free choice to date and then marry Kate. Hell, they did split up at one point so they knew what it was like being free of each other.

is spot on about a particular point

nothing gets past the policemen
if they had smelled something funny about Kate when she and William were getting together, the outcome would have been different.

The Royal protection squad are a strange bunch of blokes but they know what side their bread is buttered

@IrisAnon

My sickeningly wealthy friend and her family were on holiday last year - the kind where everyone is über wealthy so not there to spot celebrities. K&W and children were apparently there and my friend said that despite it being paradise on earth and W was having a great time, K was miserable looking and rigid at all times, despite no one paying them attention at all. They did have lots of protection officers, but then other people had bodyguards too. I do like K, but I do imagine that she’s had to tie herself up in knots to snare and marry W and be the perfect wife. Not a relaxing role at all. And I do think she really wanted to snare W. The backstory seems to indicate that.
No one was paying them any attention at all? But you said your Sickeningly Wealthy Friend was observing her at all times?

There are a lot of reasons why someone like Kate could look miserable on a holiday, whilst her husband looked happy.

If there was marital discord they would probably both look unhappy.

PrincessNutNut · 22/11/2020 20:25

She might well look miserable because she would love to be in a private garden a mile from the road, but when she tried that she got photographed topless and even bottomless by foot-long lenses in trees.

He’s mentioned he loves Nando’s and has asked his driver to get it for him. She used to be a smoker, I don’t know if she still is. They have normal habits.
On Peter Crouches podcast William had a takeaway curry. They’ve said that it depends where they are staying depends on if it’s delivery or they go and pick it up.

The Queen gets fish and chips when at Balmoral.

He was very good looking back in the day, and even if he looked like the proverbial bulldog taking an unpleasant drink off a stinging plant, he would still be in direct line to the throne, plus he was always saying he didn't intend to marry too soon. Nobody snared him, he is and was a grown man who could have had pretty much anyone he wanted as the blonde future King. He obviously wanted Kate.

Why is it always women who are characterised as predatory social climbers? The "wisteria sisters"? Can you even name their brother?

James he made that boomf marshmallow company, but then I also know Pippa is related by marriage to an idiot off of Made in Chelsea.
ajandjjmum · 23/11/2020 11:47

Pippa's husband is very successful and wealthy, from what I've read. She's in the ideal position - not answerable to anyone!
