To call my partner Cuntface

My partner and I have a great relationship, we are both quite childish and tend to call each other cunt chops or cunt face, never in anger always in fun, I’ve found my one to stay childish with rather than grow old with

The most stupid thread I’ve read all year and yeah I clicked on it🤣

60sbird · 30/09/2020 22:17

I think the most important thing here is that I’m calling and being called cuntface and not “CUNT” I’m happy and not sad, I’m living in a happy domestic environment and not suffering domestic abuse (I have in the past plus a broken cheekbone) I think being able to swear at your partner and not be scared is refreshing, it may not be an ideal name but hey ho I’m not bothered (Vicky pollard voice) peace to you all

Most definitely did not miss out on anything, both had equally fulfilling lives thank you, have you always been jealous of happy people

@60sbird yeah, always been jealous of happy people now that you mention it, ’Surrey ladies’ especially. 😅 Ten years younger than you, been with my husband for 27 years now. Not a ’Surrey lady’ though, as I’m not in the UK. I truly wish you happiness though, when you actually have it there is no need to want to boast about it - that is what I wish for you. 🙂

JayAlfredPrufrock · 30/09/2020 22:22

Yes that’s all fine but why are you telling us? There normally a question.

AIBU to call my partner cuntface.

Like that.

HTH.

Hariboqueen1 · 30/09/2020 22:23

People on here are so horrible. The op has just posted here to start a fun thread. If it doesnt interest you move on. Why do you get pleasure out of trying to make people feel their werid for posting something.

Chig · 30/09/2020 22:25

Ok (hmm)

JayAlfredPrufrock · 30/09/2020 22:26

Cuntface =fun.

Okay.

🙄

ClickandForget · 30/09/2020 22:27

I think it shows you are comfortable enough with each other that you can do this

Most people are comfortable enough to do it. It's not all that funny though. It's dull rather than shocking.

As long as you both know it's a joke and neither one of you is bothered by it, who cares?!

Dunno why people are getting holier than thou about two people sharing what they consider to be a joke in the privacy of their own home.

Big bloody deal.

ArranBound · 30/09/2020 22:30

Horrible word. Not funny in the slightest.

Funny you should say that, he often says show us your cunt and I say look in the mirror

That's a good one I will use that myself!

I like the word, I’ve even got the T-shirt however I’m really not sure what your post is about

I’m so happy you’ve been with your husband for 27 years, I maybe 10 years older than you maybe not, I’ve been with my partner for 15years, I was in a long term relationship like you but was suffering from DV and was scared to talk to let alone swear at my partner so yes I find it funny, refreshing and enjoyable that I can call my partner a vile name and be laughed at and not battered for it, not boasting just happy to be alive and thriving

My mother died 7 years ago, but I’m sure she would’ve been very proud of the lady I’ve become, thank you

JayAlfredPrufrock · 30/09/2020 22:45

Which is fab.

But what was your AIBU?

Nanny0gg · 30/09/2020 22:45

@60sbird

Reading some of these responses, I want to say fuck off, but I’m a Surrey Lady so I won’t, I have a great life with a great partner, we’ve both known the sadness of losing our parents and both know life is incredibly short for some so we try and enjoy ourselves, admittedly a bit crudely but hey it works for us. Enjoy your lives
So what was the point of your post?

I've lost a parent very young, I enjoy myself with my family but I feel no need to be crude and I feel no need to tell MN what jolly japes we have.
I also don't feel the need to be snippy when others don't think I'm half as amusing as I think I am.

Nanny0gg · 30/09/2020 22:47

Because others don't find it fun, so why should they be made to feel weird (or prudish) because of that?
Anordinarymum · 30/09/2020 22:55

What horrible people you all are picking on one woman. Disgusting

Nobody loves a show off innit...

Carishina · 30/09/2020 23:11

Personally I would be very offended to be called something like that but if it makes you and your partner happy and you’re doing it in the privacy of your own home then why not?

LuckyAmy1986 · 01/10/2020 07:36

I call my husband babe or hun

I’d gladly swap the word hun for cuntface. So bloody sick of hearing/ reading it!!!

ExhaustedGrinch · 01/10/2020 07:39

Mumsnet never ceases to amaze me.

A flock of so-called grown women sneering and judging OP for a light-hearted post and yet the other day there was a huge thread where everyone was talking about wanting to take class A drugs again to relive their youth and no one bats an eyelid. Bonkers.
