I don’t normally but I have a coldsore so think I’ll wear one tomorrow, hopefully I won’t get any passive aggressive comments from other shoppers that have been reported here.

Most of the time, but sometimes I don't if I forget to put one in the car.
The first time I wore one, an old man tutted at me. Nearly lamped him 😂

FluffyKittensinabasket · 12/06/2020 21:56

I want to wear one to hide my coldsore! Yucky.

Nope.

EatDessertFirst · 12/06/2020 21:56

Nope.

PumpkinP · 12/06/2020 21:56

Nope. I don’t own one: I don’t think you will get any comments though. I would say it’s 50/50 around here when it comes to face masks.

Lordfrontpaw · 12/06/2020 21:57

I have one. I look like a ninja but my specs keep getting fogged up.

TheThingWithFeathers · 12/06/2020 21:57

Nope. I only see a few people wearing them when I go.

LemonadeAndDaisyChains · 12/06/2020 21:57

YABU not to be clear which is which in your poll! Do you wear a face covering at the supermarket YABU or YANBU? Erm.... Confused Grin
No, I don't wear one.
Each to their own though.

confusednortherner · 12/06/2020 21:59

I do when I remember it, quite a lot of people are where we are. I can only wear it for quick shops though as asthmatic and it messes by breathing up.

Scatterlingsofafrica · 12/06/2020 22:00

I always wear one in shops- I believe it is polite and considerate to do so, and I feel more relaxed too. Most people do wear one where I live.

UncleShady · 12/06/2020 22:00

Yep.

DarklyDreamingDexter · 12/06/2020 22:01

Nope.

ToriaPumpkin · 12/06/2020 22:01

Yes, but I have a child with dodgy lungs so doing anything that could potentially help. I don't care if people around me are wearing them or not as long as they don't get in my space!

KaTetof19 · 12/06/2020 22:01

Yes. I seem to be in the minority but don't really care.

MinkyWinky · 12/06/2020 22:01

Yes

SingingWaffleDoggy · 12/06/2020 22:02

Speaking from experience, masks do not do cold sores any good. Mine turned into a raging beast in the hot and humid surroundings! If you feel more comfortable wearing one then do, but be careful not to touch your face more often adjusting it etc.

zigaziga · 12/06/2020 22:03

No. I’d say about 10-20% around here do (in London).

I don’t want to wear one but I’m considering one to keep in my bag because it’s going to be mandatory of public transport. I won’t be taking public transport for the foreseeable future, in part due to the mask thing, but I’m wondering if having a just-in-case one is a good idea.

MinorArcana · 12/06/2020 22:03

I’ve been wearing a face mask to the supermarket for the last few weeks. No one’s commented on it.

There’s been an increasing proportion of shoppers wearing face coverings around here as the lockdown has gone on.

greenlynx · 12/06/2020 22:03

I went to our local shop a few days ago ( first time after lockdown). Out of 5 , 3 wore face masks.

Thirtyrock39 · 12/06/2020 22:04

Yes I go on the nhs slot at Sainsbury's - I'm so grateful to the staff for this slot as there's only a few of us in and so I feel more of a duty to be 'doing as I'm told' also all the pensioners queuing for the next slot outside wear them so as nhs I feel I need to wear one
The glasses getting steamed up is a real pain though

MuchTooTired · 12/06/2020 22:04

Yes, I do. Also seem to be in the minority where I am but am learning not to care so much.

MarshaBradyo · 12/06/2020 22:04

I didn’t last time, but I did feel a bit out of it as so many were.

ExCwmbranDweller · 12/06/2020 22:04

I made one today that cups and smooths my double chin beautifully, can't wait to wear it out Grin.

Sh05 · 12/06/2020 22:05

I've worn one a few times but my glasses fog up so if anyone has any tips they're most welcome

Oly4 · 12/06/2020 22:06

No I don’t want to, obviously will do if they become compulsory
