Too fat for sex

Does anyone feel like this if you're over 18st? I was 16st in December, now 19st Blush I find sex so difficult now being this size, feel fat and sometimes claustrophobic when on my back. When I was 16st, I was fine. Could easily move around.

Well I guess it depends on your height too. At my heaviest I was about 21st but no I never felt like that.

Ilovethekittehs · 09/05/2020 14:00

Get a pillow girl and get to know your angles. Get to know your body and be friends with it!

teablanket · 09/05/2020 14:01

Nope. I had poor self esteem at 22st which impacted my desire to have sex, but it never felt like a physical issue. Much more enjoyable at a lower weight, but again, that's probably a self esteem/confidence thing.

Fedup21 · 09/05/2020 14:02

My DH has got too fat for us to have sex with him on top and I don’t particularly like being on top. It can definitely restrict what you do.

VladmirsPoutine · 09/05/2020 14:04

Even more reason why you need to have more of it to see what works for you now!!

Addler · 09/05/2020 14:05

No, just need to use pillows sometimes. Doggy always works well.

grumpyorange · 09/05/2020 14:05

No...not at all....

Thehop · 09/05/2020 14:07

Yes!!!! I’m joining weight watchers online, I can’t go on like this.

We’re both fat so it’s become unattractive and nearly impossible. No way to live.

EmeraldShamrock · 09/05/2020 14:14

Yes there are certain positions we couldn't try, definitely no missionary or comfortable spooning as DP is heavy especially on his stomach.

heron20 · 09/05/2020 14:46

So are you going to lose weight OP?

lindsay2900 · 09/05/2020 14:46

@amazedmummy I'm 5"7

JoesExotic · 09/05/2020 14:47

I'm around 14st and feel really heavy, it's perfectly possible to physically have sex, but my body image means I can't bring myself to. Which is a shame.

Chamomileteaplease · 09/05/2020 14:50

I was wondering about this. Anyone seen This Is Us? There is a couple on there where the woman must be about 30 stone and the guy about 25, at a guess. I know it's fictional (!) but I wondered how they "do it".

CloudyVanilla · 09/05/2020 14:51

I've put on weight and now can't be picked up :( all other positions are fine over here, I'm not short though (5'6)

Just use it as one more motivation to lose weight, I am!

CloudyVanilla · 09/05/2020 14:53

@Chamomileteaplease I was acquaintances with a very large couple who had 3 children and they have both been large pre kids, always wondered how they managed it Blush

I suppose it does also depend on the size of your DP. Mine is not overweight, if we both were it would be tougher for sure.

maddiemookins16mum · 09/05/2020 14:54

I’m 14 stone and it is much harder than when I was not obese. It’s like shagging with a large Labrador on your back.

MiniChoc · 09/05/2020 14:59

I'm 20 stone and struggle with some positions although it's more about my low self esteem to be honest, as other posters have said.

Saucy99 · 09/05/2020 15:02

Why not just lose some weight?

ChipotleBlessing · 09/05/2020 15:04

Well losing weight isn’t going to help her with having sex this afternoon, is it? And as if she hadn’t already thought of that idea Hmm

MrMeeseekscando · 09/05/2020 15:05

@Saucy99 Wow, I bet she didn't think of that!
It's a revelation!
Ladies! All of our problems are solved! Hmm

Oknobutok · 09/05/2020 15:07

I'm 17st and a bit was around 18 and a bit. I do feel fat sometimes (hence why losing weight) but I've never struggled with sex. I'm big but mobile and really enjoy sex. Sorry you feel like this. But I'm not sure it's a blanket thing across all people this size.

I'm on the pathway to a gastric bypass. I've got some health issues and medication which has caused weight gain and made losing it hard. I do wonder how I might experience my body differently when I lose more weight. I'm 34 btw

JoesExotic · 09/05/2020 15:07

Someone will be along soon to enlighten us all how it's a very simple equation of 'calories in vs calories out' Hmm

voddiekeepsmesane · 09/05/2020 15:09

Wow Saucy99 I don't think I could write down enough eyerolls I did when I read your post. Have to say though I was waiting for some twat to come in and say that

bumblingbovine49 · 09/05/2020 15:10

I'm 5ft 7. When I weigh around 16st, I don't feel too bad . I weight slightly over that at the moment and while I know I am still seriously overweight, I can do most things quite easily. Go up and down stairs, my knees don't hurt, I can do intermediate exercise classes ( 30-40 mins), though usually low impact. If it wasn't for all the hoo ha about corona virus and obesity, I'd be quite happy in that I feel quite comfortable at this weight.

When I was heavier though ( nearer 18.5 stone), I really felt much less comfortable. My BMI was over 40 though. It is nearer 35-36 now which seems to make a massive difference to how I feel. I weigh myself daily now and make sure I don't go above my current weight. If I don't lose any, then it is not ideal but I am managing not to put any on which is a win for me really.

choc71 · 09/05/2020 15:16

I'm 5'2" and 16 stone and I genuinely don't feel it, I feel much more lighter and am more nimble than my weight would suggest. Guess those scales don't lie though.
