Absolutely outrageous statement from DH

Advert for Kitkat came on. He says he's not sure he's ever eaten a four finger Kitkat. Two finger yeah, perfect for a post lunch sweet treat, but faced with the choice of any chocolate bar, he definitely wouldn't go for a Kitkat.

I initially thought this was outrageous, but now I think he might have a point.

And I can't find the voting button...

Is he BU??

Leave him be. I never eat kitkats, they’re made by nestle who are evil.

PinkiOcelot · 15/03/2020 19:55

I do like KitKat, but if I was buying a chocolate bar at the shop, I would never choose a KitKat.

BitOfFun · 15/03/2020 19:56

They are boring- only invented to make a cheap snack, as it's more wafer than chocolate.

CaffeineInfusion · 15/03/2020 19:56

This made me laugh so much😂

Not what I was expecting🤣

Mincingfuckdragon2 · 15/03/2020 19:58

KitKats are disgusting. They taste of oil (not nice buttery oil either, but aged stinky processed oil) and white sugar, and nothing else. YABVVVVVU. [Grin] Soz.

Langsdestiny · 15/03/2020 19:59

I ea

Langsdestiny · 15/03/2020 20:00

Hmm I eat them because they are relatively low in calories compared to other chocolate.

sarahC40 · 15/03/2020 20:01

They are great with brown bread. Don’t ask me how I know - I was young and foolish (possibly hungover)

Ruby8719 · 15/03/2020 20:02

Biscuit not a chocolate bar - I agree with him Grin

Bog standard kitkat I can take or leave. Kitkat chunky on the other hand is the food of gods.

Frenchw1fe · 15/03/2020 20:05

A KitKat beats a Twix imo. But I only eat the 2 finger KitKats as they are quite sweet.

Winterlife · 15/03/2020 20:05

I like KitKats. I don't eat chocolate often Sad, but if I am not eating top quality chocolate, my chocolate bars of choice are mars bars and caramilk bars.

mimimonster123 · 15/03/2020 20:14

Omg I love kitkats
I'm Known for it 🙈
I eat at least one a day
My favourite is a 4 finger!
Also love a chunky

I can just about deal with the Tesco own brand Kit Kat, i keep some In the house in case I run out of my normal ones..

🤘🏼 Living the dream

mumwon · 15/03/2020 20:14

(anything with nuts)

SockQueen · 15/03/2020 20:15

Chunky KitKat is the best option, obviously.

BBCONEANDTWO · 15/03/2020 20:18

I absolutely love the chunky version of the Kit Kat - it's so delicious.I just bite off the sides slowly till I get to the centre - lush.

Spied · 15/03/2020 20:18

Substandard things.
I'll have she one if there's nothing else.

NoProblem123 · 15/03/2020 20:22

Several times I’ve had 2 normal sized kitkats but no, I would never, ever buy a 4 fingered one.

Just no.

SavoyCabbage · 15/03/2020 20:24

I agree with him. I would have a kit Kat if it was up against say a Penguin or a Club. But a four finger KitKat is no competition for a Twirl, Topic or a Double Decker.

I’d have a Tunnock’s caramel wafer over a KitKat any day of the week though.

SlayingDragons · 15/03/2020 20:26

Dark mint 2 finger KitKats are the best quick snack. (And only 107cals) I always have a packet of normal and a packet of dark mint in my fridge.

Would never pick up a 4 finger kitkat in a shop though - would go for a twix or a twirl or if I’m really lucky, and they have them in stock; a dark chocolate bounty

maddiemookins16mum · 15/03/2020 20:28

Kitkats are for elevenses with a cuppa, they aren’t the same as a Double Decker ir say a Twirl are they.

OverByYer · 15/03/2020 20:29

I agree, I’ve never had a four finger. I’d rather have a Twix

lionheart · 15/03/2020 20:30

How can a Kitkat beat a Twix? Shock

ChachiChichi · 15/03/2020 20:30

Time Outs are waaaaayyyy better!
