Advert for Kitkat came on. He says he's not sure he's ever eaten a four finger Kitkat. Two finger yeah, perfect for a post lunch sweet treat, but faced with the choice of any chocolate bar, he definitely wouldn't go for a Kitkat.

I initially thought this was outrageous, but now I think he might have a point.

And I can't find the voting button...

Is he BU??

Kit Kate are ok but double deckers are the bomb.

SlayingDragons · 15/03/2020 21:29

I’ve just remembered that I went to uni with a guy whose surname is kitkat. I can’t remember if it had an extra ‘t’ or not though.

Shannith · 15/03/2020 21:29

Do you know I've never had a peanut chunky Kit Kat.

And this is strange because I am partial to peanut butter spread on dark chocolate digestive biscuits.

I will have a look in the village shop tomorrow. They have all sorts in there.

4 legs fingers bad. 2 legs fingers good.

Now let's for a moment consider the potential wonder of a two fingered chunky Kit Kat.

Now that's a proper feast for a man list menopausal woman.

SlayingDragons · 15/03/2020 21:30

@Toomuchsky we were rather fascinated by that revelation too!

Canshopwillshop · 15/03/2020 21:31

I only ever eat 2 finger Kit Kat’s but I always need 2!

ChilliMayo · 15/03/2020 21:33

Chunky Kitkats are all fur coat and no knickers. All biscuit no chocolate.
My guilty treat is a Lion Bar.

Useryokyesno · 15/03/2020 21:34

Kit kats are awful. A 4 finger one just prolongs the misery.

LittleTopic · 15/03/2020 21:37

Dark KitKats are good.
As are mint ones.

Kinder Buneo is better 😁

Commonwasher · 15/03/2020 21:38

Why have kitkats when you could have a box of chocolate fingers? Grin

themarkofthemaker · 15/03/2020 21:39

choco leibniz definitely outclassed kit ksts in every respect

EwwSprouts · 15/03/2020 21:42

If it's got to be a chocolate wafer snack then a Tunnocks is far preferable. I wouldn't go for a four finger Kitkat but the chunky ones are acceptable. For a chocolate biscuit the M&S thick chocolate ginger biscuits are moreish.

Emptyspacex · 15/03/2020 21:43

Adding KitKats to my weekly shop now

Chocolateandamaretto · 15/03/2020 21:47

Peanut butter Kit Kat chunky - food of the gods!

Tbh I like a 2 finger kit Kat post lunch at work but agree with your hubby that I’d never buy a 4 finger one a chocolate bar when I’d gone looking for a treat.

WeAllHaveWings · 15/03/2020 21:47

KitKats are one of those choccy biscuits that used to be nice with tasty thick chocolate, especially the chunky ones. Wouldn't buy then now.

APatchyTomCat · 15/03/2020 21:48

Kit Kat's are soooo boring, I would never actively choose a Kit Kat.

Which means that whenever I'm offered a Kit Kat, I can't believe how nice they actually are Confused

Oxfordnono12 · 15/03/2020 21:50

Needs to be a kitkat chunky!!

Moonmelodies · 15/03/2020 21:52

4 finger ones are less sweet than the 2 finger variety.

ColourMeExhausted · 15/03/2020 21:53

YANBU!!! Two fingers...what is even the point??

madnessitellyou · 15/03/2020 21:56

I have never eaten a Kitkat Chunky

speakout · 15/03/2020 22:01

Kit Kats win the top prize for inventive eating techniques of any chocolate biscuit.

If time and privacy I am a side nibbler, ( after firstly eating a smal solid slice off each end) then the top layer of chocolate can be grazed off with the teeth, leaving the biscuit and base to be eaten in one bite.

I suspect there are other techniques, but as these things are often done behind locked doors not often discussed.

Imstillskanking · 15/03/2020 22:03

I think you're overreacting. KitKat is realistically only a 5/10, regardless of the number of sticks.

Regretsandregrets · 15/03/2020 22:06

White kit kat with a hot cup of tea.
Pure heaven!

VeeBe · 15/03/2020 22:13

Never had four fingers snigger, snigger...

Anyway, KitKat. Yes please! They're very popular in Japan so next time someone you know goes out there get them to bring you back a party pack - there are some very "interesting" flavours.

Twix are the daddy of chocolate snack bars mind you.

LaurieMarlow · 15/03/2020 22:25

Ugh, kitkats. Never got the love. Wafer is like a poor man’s biscuit.

Preferring a kitkat to a twix is just batshit behaviour.

Whichoneofyoudidthat · 15/03/2020 22:26

My husband once took a 4 fingered Kit Kat out of the wrapper and proceeded to eat it like a sandwich.

Your troubles are mild in comparison. Spare a thought for others, yeah?
