How many long term (6 months or more) romantic relationships have you had in your life?

I am 45. I have had 5 long term (6 months or longer) romantic relationships in my life (including my husband who I have been with for 15 years). I don't think that is a lot but my best friend does. Is this about normal (also had many years being single, so it all evens out).

I think that sounds perfectly normal. Many people my age (32) have had around that many.

I’ve had one (12 years) which has just ended.

I've had four 6 months or longer relationships before I met my partner and we've been together nearly 12 years.

Boyfriend 4 years (aged 31-35)
Boyfriend 6 months (aged 37)
Met my now boyfriend / DP 5.5 years ago.

I lost my virginity to my husband, so in the 6 months between 6 month BF and now DP, I went a bit wild on the dating / FWB front and had some fun. Absolutely brilliant time. 😆

In my 50s and married for 17 years. Previously had 6 ltrs None since divorcing 😔

Daughter's Dad for three years, current bf for 14 years so far.

1. Was with my ex for 24 years. We split up 2.5 years ago.

I've been seeing someone for 2 weeks. Which is my 3rd longest relationship. 😂

I'm 28 and recently split with the father of my DC. We had been together 12 years.

I'm 50 and have had seven relationships of longer than six months. I've definitely been single for longer (18 and over) than in a relationship though.

I'm 43 and have had 3 including DH of 20 years.

1. I’m 40 and have been with my DH for 14 years. No other relationship that’s lasted over 6 months.

Two. I was with my first boyfriend for about 3 years. After him, I had a series of flingettes and ONS, and then starting seeing my now husband and we’ve been together for 22 years.

1. Semi-abusive ex. And non-abusive albeit somewhat annoying dh.

Husband was first long term relationship, only a 4 month one before that. For together with DH at 21.
17yrs later am starting to think that my lack of experience in relationships was part of the problem....

3 ltrs. 11 years and married , 12 years and married 3 years and 3 months so far engaged. I'm almost 45. First began at 18 and second at 29. I was married for around half of each ltr. Had a few minor dalliances in between times! 1st husband was an abusive bastard in every way possible. 2nd an alcoholic who was verbally/psychologically and physically abusive. My fiance is awesome!

I'm 43, I've had two LTRs.
One was my first girlfriend which lasted two and a half years. The second is my wife and we've been together for 21 years.

4 and I'm mid twenties.
