How many long term (6 months or more) romantic relationships have you had in your life?

I am 45. I have had 5 long term (6 months or longer) romantic relationships in my life (including my husband who I have been with for 15 years). I don't think that is a lot but my best friend does. Is this about normal (also had many years being single, so it all evens out).

A boyfriend of 18 months age 17-18
Another of 6 months age 18-29
Another of 8 months age 20

Wild but desperately unhappy time in between trying to convince myself I was a) straight and b) desirable

Then finally came out, dated a couple of women, then met my now wife at 21, a little over 17 years ago. Married for almost 11.

Father of my kids 11 years 26 till 37 Rubbish relationship and ended badly. Lots of abuse.
Current relationship 4years after being single for 12 years. All good so far.
I am so happy bin my relationship but if l ended up single again l know bl would be fine.

Two. Married them both.

Was with XH for 20 years, married for 15.

With now DH for 7 years, married for 9 months so far.

Two.

One when I was 16-19. And my husband, whom I've been with for almost nine years.

Plus, one twat who picked me up and dropped me on and off for a year.

1 - Just under 2 and a half years.

1. Current DP, just celebrated 13 years.

I'm 31.

1. I've been with DH for nearly 10 years and am 31.

There were lots of flings but never anything steady or serious.

Two decade long relationships

I'm in my 30's 3 but Iv been with in a relationship with one person since I was 18.

Two - first boyfriend, was with him for 2 years, then DH (second boyfriend!), was with him for 20 years til he died. There won't be any more.

5 but this includes my DH of almost 30 years. The other 4 were minimum of a few years each.

6, I’m 42.

15-18 (3.5 years)
22-24 (2.5 years)
24-25 (18 months)
27-29 (2.5 years)
31-34 (3 years)
34-42 (7+ years)

4, and that includes 2 before I turned 20. 6 months isn’t that long at all!

1. However if I throw in my faithful FWBs (LOL) its 6. And one of those FWBs has been around for nearly 15yrs!

I've had 2.

ExH I was with from 13 to 29 so 16 years.
DP I've been with from 29 to now. Nearly 5.5 years.

So technically I've had 2 boyfriends in my life.

I'm now 35.

1. I’m 50. Plenty of non starters and failures in between them!

I've had 4 relationships of any kind.

6½ months, about 6 months but we were in different countries for part of it, 8 months, 31 years and counting.

1. Age 21-24. Married man 20 years my senior. Still alive (AFAIK).
2. Age 31-37. He died c6 years ago (alcoholism).
3. Age 39-42. Still vaguely in touch through mutual friends.
4. Age 45-date. Hope there's no further relationships

1 but I met dh when I was 16. Will be 14 years in april... decided we will probably stick together as I can't be bothered meeting anyone else, he says the same
