How many long term (6 months or more) romantic relationships have you had in your life?

I am 45. I have had 5 long term (6 months or longer) romantic relationships in my life (including my husband who I have been with for 15 years). I don't think that is a lot but my best friend does. Is this about normal (also had many years being single, so it all evens out).

I'm 48 and on my 5th longer than 6 months relationship.
Two were 5 years, one a huge mistake that I have blocked from my mind but was probably not much longer than 6 months but long enough to get engaged and then stalked after I called it off, then my 15 year relationship to exH and my now unexpected post-divorce relationship of 18 months. Whether this one works out or not - it will be my last. If it doesn't work out (which I hope it does!) then I'm not going back there again!

Just 1: my current husband. Met him at 28 and I am 40 now. I had had loads of unsuitable relationships before him and got fed up of being used and taken advantage of so stayed single for 3 years and began to think that I'd never have a long-term partner. I turned to online dating and he was the 1st person I matched with.

  1. Late 40s now. Been single over 2 years. I doubt there will be anyone else.

I'm 41 and only had 1 serious relationship with my DH. We have been together 19 years.
